Want to tempt your tummy with a delicious grilled cheese sandwich...this is your place. A whole new take on the All American... Grilled cheese sandwich. First you have to be able to get over making the normal grilled cheese sandwich that probably cost adollar to make at home, because it's gonna cost you a bit more than that here. However, there is a good variety of differentsandwiches to go with. I did find the place was a tad bit slow, and not because they don't have the workers, but becauseeverything seemed to be cooked to order. If you order something with chicken, the chicken isn't just laying around in a bincold and going to be tossed in the microwave to be heated up. My sandwich came out fresh. The thick bread had a nice goldenbrown crisp to it and the cheese was gooey and melted perfectly. The chicken the same. It was tender and not rubbery. Itseemed others were ordering mozzarella sticks to go with their meals. I overheard them talking about how delicious theywere...so they obviously are repeat customers. Read more

I ordered the "Cheesy Butter Roasted Mushroom" sandwich and it was delicious! The bread was perfectly toasted, the cheese melted... just right (the perfect amount) and the mushrooms were tasty. The Grilled Cheese was served with a side of potato wedges. Read more

Tried planet grilled cheese tonight while visiting friends in Melbourne. Was very pleased with the experience! The owner of the... restaurant took my order and was very happy and friendly. The other crew members were so nice as well. I got the Mac and cheesegrilled cheese and it was great! Mac and cheese part was super tasty and the extra cheese they put on was super melty anddelicious. Also got a side of loaded fries which were good too! I was really excited to see a grilled cheese place because that?s my favorite sandwich. However it was a little disappointing.... It said they were four kinds of cheeses and bacon was an extra dollar so I?m not sure where the four cheeses actually were butit was not real bacon it was bacon bits. The bread was not grilled and soft, it was almost more like toast and the crust washard and leathery in some spots. The cheese was tasty however. I?m not sure if they made toast, put the cheese on and thenheated it in the microwave to melt the cheese or what. I?ll give it one more try, because everyone else seems to like it. Killer vegan grilled cheese with tomato on gluten free bread. If you get bored of the limited vegan options you find out there... try their amazing vegan grilled cheese. Perfectly melted vegan cheese was just amazing. I also saw a vegan chili on the menuto try next time. They grilled the gluten free bread I chose perfectly. Mix it up and try this place out.
