We ordered the Avocado Krab Salad. It was delicious. It comes with a fantastic Ginger sauce. The service was fast and attentive.... It?s a small restaurant, so I recommend calling to reserve a table or pick up your food. Have plenty of parking in front of thestore. You can see how the kitchen team does your plate. The menu has plenty of options for Sushi and Thai Food. Read more

Another amazing meal from Thai Hana. I've been here several times and it's always great. Today just got takeout (thus the... plated photo). Green curry and then basil noodles. Delicious. I wouldn't go anywhere else for Thai in the Melbourne area. Read more

This place really went down hill. Used to be our go to sushi place and was amazing. I don?t know if they changed owners or what... but they used to used to always make a roll for us that used to be on the menu. Tonight we were told no exceptions. Our misosoup with the sushi boat was charged because ?it?s only free for dine in.? Worst of all our sushi looked far beyond fresh. Fishwas dry and discolored, eel was cooked to death but also slimy and seaweed salad was 50% liquid. I called the restaurant and wasoffered jo solution other than be repeatedly told, ?we serve everyone the same quality food.? They eventually offered for me tobring it all back for a replacement, however, why would I want to go back in the middle of a storm for what I was told over andover is the same thing. Sorry to say that if this is the quality and customer service that Thai Hana has to offer, I will begetting my sushi elsewhere. The picture that says before on it is how amazing the food from this place used to be. Sad to see itturn into what it is now. Read more

Great service, the staff is extremely detail oriented. No joke from the time I ordered a volcano roll and chicken pad Thai it... took maximum 90 seconds to get my food. The ONLY reason I?m rating it a 4 instead of 5 is because the chicken in the pad Thaihad a very strong ?chicken? flavor. Felt like the chicken and the pad Thai was cooked separately and then joined at the end.Other than that really enjoyed my experience. Read more

Walking in and glancing at Thai Hana's menu was all the convincing I needed to dine in. A whopping 17-page spread, complete with... pictures of most dishes, made my mouth water. I ordered a bowl of Miso Ramen, along with a Super Crunch Roll. A modest-sizedstaff managed to keep things running, delivering food and politely checking in on diners intermittently, and before I coulddrool over the menu for too long, my sushi roll landed on the table, still piping hot and coated in eel and spicy mayo sauces. Apicture does this roll no justice?longer than 12 inches laid out on a tray, and sliced into 14 pieces, each about three inchesacross. The Super Crunch Roll gets its name from its asparagus filling and tempura flake coating, giving it a satisfyingcrispiness that ?crunches? between the teeth. Crab, eel, salmon, cream cheese, and avocado grant this roll a traditional flavor, but the variety of fish meat gives it a smoky-sweet taste, strengthened by the blend of eel sauce and optional soy sauce (fordipping). This roll fully satisfied me, leaving me without appetite for seconds, as I had originally planned?I had to save roomfor my ramen, after all. If the Super Crunch Roll is any indicator of Thai Hana?s typical fanfare, then I could happily chooseThai Hana over its competition, knowing that my money would be going towards larger sushi rolls with larger-than-life flavor. Ihave made plans to go back for more. Shortly after my roll arrived, the giant bowl of ramen arrived in front of me. Given thechoice between miso and shoyu broth, I chose the miso, then splashed a bit of soy sauce into the mix to add some saltiness andadditional flavor. Far from a side-dish, the ramen was a meal in its own right and would have easily filled my stomach withoutthe addition of a sushi roll. (And please let me geek out a moment: It resembled Naruto?s Ichiraku Ramen almost flawlessly, withyellow noodles, pork slices, seaweed, scallions, and Naruto fishcakes).
