Staff were super busy but i could tell they connected w alot of their customers.

4 stars just because nobody gets 5, ever. I Had the beef dip for lunch. It was out quick. A generous portion of roast beef,... fresh, tender & piping hot on a nice fresh bun. Fries were perfectly cooked and hot. Gravy for the fries was excellent, alsohot. Au Jus was tasty. It looks like coffee but tastes like beef. Not too salty. I could have filled my travel mug and sipped iton the drive home to S'toon. Server was friendly, chipper, and attentive. Judging by how absolutely packed this place was on Sunday, you can definitely tell that Melfort Smitty's runs like a beast.... Although it was heckin' busy, we were seated quickly, our waiter was super cool and we had our food in no time. Me? I got theWestern skillet, breaking another 36 hour fast and it hit the void, perfectly, that I had consciously created over the last dayand a half. Yes, Melfort Smitty's, you are a shining beacon of hope, a harbinger of excellent breakfasts and brunches tocome. AND, I love that you have your Google hours updated to reflect the days which you are open (unlike some other breakfast-ydiner-y places we drove all the way to Melfort for, whose Google info said they were Open at 10 when, in fact, they werenot.) This was my first time at this Smitty?s, the service surpassed all previous expectations. The server Brad, displayed all... characteristics of a fine dinning server crossed with the comedy of Robin Williams. He made me feel at home, the service wasfast and expedient. I will be definitely coming here more often in trips through town. Brad is so good at his job he should bepromoted to manager. Read more
