First off, the food was excellent. Really truly notable and i rarely say that. Even the pizza was delicious and the Po Boy... took me right back to New Orleans. We wanted to find a dog friendly restaurant so we could take our small dog out with us. The Refuge accommodates. When we... arrived, they sat us and immediately brought out a big bowl of water for him. They were so friendly to our Jake. I asked whatfood on the kids menu I could order for him and the waitress suggested chicken nuggets and French fries. No more than 10 minslater, a metal dog bowl filled with chicken nuggets and French fries arrived. He ate all the chicken of course. Our meal anddrinks came out so fast too. Came to celebrate fathers day with family. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside, but the tables for four felt... crammed. The place was not full of people, but it was unusually loud. We ordered our meal and a starter and the dinner came in30 seconds before that starter. We let our waiter know that we no longer wanted or needed the starter dish since our meal camebefore. The manager kindly said that we could keep the appetizer at no cost and apologized for the delay. The shrimp tacos wereVery good. 3/2022 party of 4: Great service except for removing what was finished(pre-bus), drinks appetizers, plates etc. The cocktails... very delicious. Food was also pretty good. Hats off to the Chefs. A little loud on a busy Saturday night. Nice and verydecorative restaurant. Enjoy! Read more
Have our company holiday dinner. The food was amazing and we had a blast. They had a lot of selection for all type of eaters... from fish to vegetarian meatballs. I went to the Refuge for an early dinner with a company of friends and was glad that we choose this place. It has a bit of... unusual decor and a pleasant atmosphere. The service was very friendly and they accommodated all of our special requests. Thefood was good and the portions are large. I am not giving this place five stars because the menu is too eclectic for my tasteand I didn't find many dishes that I would want to try there. Read more
