This is a long standing institution in Memphis and beloved by many. But I tried it again after many years, didn't enjoy my... experience and likely won't return. Most of our food was good. There is no beer on tap. And it is way overpriced. A sandwichwith no sides is 11.75. While our server was super friendly and great, I found the overall vibe to be unwelcoming especiallyfrom the bartender or owner or whoever she was. I know regulars have a lot to love about it. Yumm! Bacon wrapped chicken livers, French dip, onion rings, everything was delicious. Neighborhood bar vibe. 70's rock playing... and our server was super sweet. Can't wait to go back.
