I can't make a comment on how the food was because we never got it after sitting for an hour and ten minutes waiting. In that... time, we saw our server twice. The first time was to get our drink orders and the second was when got the drinks and our bread(no refills of course). The table that was sat right before us and right after us both got their food and had finished and left,so clearly everyone wasn't waiting on a backed up kitchen that was in the weeds and something tells me Cracker Barrel isn't handmaking dumplings for the chicken and dumplings. When we got the bread around the 45 minute mark our server told us our foodwasn't quite ready yet, whatever that means. I love browsing around in the gift shop, it always reminds me of family vacation. The whole setup reminds me of family. Sitting... on the front porch in a rocking chair, eating good ole country meals, getting full and taking a nap. 100% Southern. I love thebreakfast here and turnip greens, not served together or anything crazy? but there is not much you can get here and bedisappointed. I have almost had everything on their menu. No stars on this visit. My party arrived at 9:10am and we were seated at 9:30 (20 minute wait). The server came and got our... drink order. After another 10 minutes he came back to get our food order. So since 9:40ish we been waiting on our food. It tookthem multiple times to either refill or bring our drinks. At one point they brought us a dirty glass to drink out of. At thetime of writing this it's now 10:50am. 6 people were seated after us and received their food. The server informed us the foodwas still coming. We then asked for the manager. Well what do you know, the food came right out annnnnd its was wrong. It wasmissing items and the undercooked. Of course the manager came half listen to our complaint and brought out new food. He cameback a second time and reminded him of the missing peach tea. Me and my husband went to the Shelby oaks drive location for Valentine?s Day dinner. We had a horrible experience the service... wasn?t good and the server wasn?t very attentive to filling our glasses. The food was barely warm seemed like it had sat for awhile before it was brought to us and we also ordered a to-go order and our server Michael brought it to us when he brought ourfood to us after we told him to wait until we got done eating. We had to tell him 2 or 3 times that we needed more tea, the lasttime he came up and asked us how everything was. Unfortunately, things wasn?t very good at that point. Read more
