Cute little place! I had been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened and finally made it in. As a girl from outside of... Buffalo, NY it means quite a bit when I say the wings were DELICIOUS! This place was absolutely amazing! My noodle bowl was simply delicious and perfectly cooked. I also had a very refreshing... non-alcoholic drink with rose water that was so refreshing. The music was a little loud inside, but otherwise the atmosphere isvery trendy and fresh. Our ice cream for dessert that was served in a waffle fish was some of the best ice cream we have everhad. The place looks absolutely hip, and new age with all sleek seats and all. It has a bar setting along with the regular tables. I... started with some hibiscus green tea, which came in a pot and a cute tiny cup to sip. The amount was humongous for me. The teawas bright red color with a fruity flavour. It was fine. My bf drank a sake that was poured in a small shot glass overflowing ina box. The box imparts some additional Flavour to it. He totally enjoyed the drink. We started with some shrimp dumplings. Thedumplings came with chilli in oil. This was decent, nothing extraordinary. In the main course both of us shared the same bowl oframen. The ramen portion is less as compared to usual ramen bars, and the broth also didn?t have much deep flavour. It wasabsolutely overrated. The place already adds some gratuity to the final check, even if you are a party of two!! That made thefinal bill 60$ for us, which I felt pretty expensive for what all we consumed. So overall the place looks much better incomparison to the food price and value for money. Read more
The inside of the restaurant looks hella cute! I wish the tables were a tad bit bigger. We had to finish our appetizers to make... sure we had space for the main dish. The GFC wings were yummy and crunchy and the sauce was savory! The ramen bowls were a bitsmaller than most ramen places I?ve been to, but the flavor of the Coco curry made up for it! Well, hello, new favorite restaurant! Everything - the decor, the vibe, the service, and the food - was wonderful. The service... was friendly and attentive yet unobtrusive. Our table had the lumpia-style rolls (crispy yet light, filled with a tastyImpossible "meat" and vegetable mixture), Tan Tan noodles (delicious and refreshingly spicy), Coco Curry (equally as delicious,they truly know how to create an amazing broth), and Kiss from a Rose, a sweet and beautiful non-alcoholic drink. They get extracredit for their exemplary tofu, the texture is perfectly dense - it's some of the best I've had. They include a 20% servicefee, and the breakdown of how it's distributed in-house is printed on the receipt. Our server made sure that we were aware ofthis fee. I love establishments that make sure their employees are taken care of, so this makes me even more enthusiastic aboutsupporting Good Fortune Co. in the future. Read more
