Great dining option in downtown Memphis. Area was kinda dead. But the restaurant was busy. I can see why. I had the pork osso... buco. Best pork shank dish I’ve ever had. So good. Loved the base of cheesy grits and the collard greens. Read more
Pictured below is the seafood pasta, shrimp & grits, filets and tots small plate, purple hull pea hummus & the seasonal veggie... plate. The hummus needed a little more flavor. The filets and tots was perfection for a small plate absolutely perfect. Theseafood pasta was bursting with flavor! The veggie plate was perfect for my friend who is a vegan she loved everything about it.The shrimp and grits were absolutely incredible my favorite for sure. The lemon drop was superb and the blackberry smash hasdefinitely given me the drive to be more explorative with bourbon drinks instead of lemon drops. Overall it’s a beautifulambiance & Michelle the waitress was so lovely. Don’t be put off by the upscale renovations; McEwen’s is a perfect spot for a casual, reasonably-priced lunch. Unpretentious... and popular with the business crowd, it offers great sandwiches in the $10-15 range with homemade(?) breads. Good wine selectionand the same high quality service as dinner. Read more
OH MY GOSH!! The food here was AMAZING!! The chef made sure to keep my husband safe, he has many allergies, and the flavor was... great. This is my first time to Memphis and I wondered if the hype about the food was just that, hype, it was not. The biscuitswill melt in your mouth. I didn't get a picture of the Saffron lobster risotto but it was delicious. If you're in Memphis try toget to McEwan's, you will not be disappointed, I wasn't. Read more

Took my husband for a surprise dinner and it was awesome!!I do not say this lightly , Probably the best dinner I’ve probably... ever had! The chef is top notch!
