I have been here before and have enjoyes my meals but this time I went on Veterans Day for breakfast and it was terrible. One of... my best friends (who is also a Veteran) went with me along with his wife. His wife asked the waitress why everthing looked soold on the buffet. The waitress told us that it was because it was Veterans Day and that later on the food would be better. Icouldn't believe that she said that in front of 2 Veterans. We left after she told us that. This was my first and last time at a Shoneys! The woman who waited on us was so sweet. She?s the only reason this place got 2... stars! We got there @1pm for lunch. They barely had any food options on the buffet. What they did have was cold. Up until weasked about desert (which we originally got told that they didn?t have, but then came out with before we left), the best thingon there was the over cooked bacon from That morning (and I don?t even like my bacon crunchy. So to say that it was the bestthing on the menu is saying something!). This may have been my first and last time at a Shoneys, but I was informed by my partythat this was the worst Shoneys they had ever been to. My boyfriend and I came to eat the buffet. When we arrived it was one guy in front of us. The manager kept telling us that she... would be with us in just a moment, which was fine since it looked like they had short staff. The manager seated the one guy infront of us. The manager started cleaning the tables after we waited 10 minutes. After that we waited 5 more minutes , then themanager sent the waitress to seat us. Remind you at this point about 7 more people had came in to be seated too behind us. Wewere next. As the waitress call for us to be seated, however the manager cut her off. The manager told the waitress it was 3ladies that needed to seat next. We were standing in line all this time and no 3 ladies were in line. It was 3 ladies that camein at the end of the line. This manager was terrible. You can't run a restaurant like this. As soon as these people startedcoming in you should have started cleaning those tables. We got there right before breakfast ended so for it to have been the last of the food, it was still good. I believe the waitress... name was Shauniece/Shaniece....not quick sure but something like that, she was amazing and attentive! Great job! Good food!Wonderful overall experience! I was full! Very good place to get breakfast but u don't get refills on drinks which is weird
My family went to this local establishment to try their Saturday breakfast buffet. It was ok, nothing to really brag about since... we use to eat at the location on Elvis Presley or Summer all the time. The waffles and omelettes were made to order..fresh! Thebacon was a little too salty to me and the chicken bites were seasoned on the outside, but not on the inside. The cups for juicewas a small hotel, breakfast style cup(could have been reg 8 oz.) In fairness the food was ok, even though we got there 30minsbefore shut down. I will probably go back, but next time much earlier! Read more
Worst lunch buffet ever! Salty, watery mac and cheese. Greasy fried chicken. None of the items are labeled. Is that chicken... fried steak or fish? What kind of soup is that? Looks like gravy. Terrible selection of food. Please do something about theripped upholstery and sweep the floor. Nasty was pepper shaker on the table. Read more
Shoney's has reopened after the pandemic and it seems that they did not take time to renovate nor clean. I was really craving... their breakfast but I will not be going back anytime soon! The food was bland and the place is dirty! The furniture is old anddecrepit! They need to shut down again and clean up! Read more
