Soul Fish Cafe is absolutely delicious. I?ve been there twice, and I will continue to do so when I?m in Memphis. I sat at the... bar, and David & Kayla waited on me. I had Ghost River?s Blonde which is a tasty, easy drinker. It paired well with theBuffalo shrimp, creole cabbage, and hush puppies. The Buffalo shrimp were spicy. Great local diner with lots of spirit. The decor was modern and fun. Plenty of space and seating for everyone without being... cramped. Great simple easy to read menus and a specials board that is large and easy to read. Staffing was amazing. I believethe owner or manager came out to our table and greeted us. He was friendly and recommended the salmon burger, which did notdisappoint. The catfish platter was great also. I ordered the collard greens and slaw with it. The food was delicious as always!! Only thing we didn't see/know was that the lemon pie has cocunut in it and the banana cake... has nuts in it. Glad we took it home instead of trying it at the restaurant for the horrific allergic reactions that followed.There was no description so we believed banana cake was just that since it's NOT called banana nut cake. The lemon pie hadcocunut which I've personally never seen/experienced didn't end well for me at all. Again not described. Probably should beadvertised as lemon cocunut pie. Anywho glad we had it at home. Would DEFINITELY recommend adding descriptions or changing thename all together. Rest of the food was absolutely delicious!! Read more
