The restaurant itself was very unique and a fun experience to visit. The food was decent, nothing to write home about. I had the... ribs and soup of the day and was not impressed. I was a bit skeptical at first to try the curry chicken soup because I'm from... the islands and some stateside restaurants don't really prepare curry the same way we do it back home. Wellllll, to mywonderful surprise, it was REALLY GOOD! I scraped every drop in my mouth. I definitely recommend trying this appetizer. Read more
We went for brunch. They no longer have it. Tried the the blue cheese burger. 10 out of 10. My wife had the grilled cheese. 11... out of 10. Insanely good. We'll be back. Our sever was outstanding as well. A great experience. Read more
Took a lunch break away from Graceland with the aunts today and landed in this 100+ yo building that is majestic. They have a... great lunch menu with salads, flatbreads, burgers and sandwiches and all very reasonably priced and a full bar to boot. Ourselections were the salmon BLT, a chicken club wrap, gumbo and a grilled cheese all with side salads…again our attempt attrying to feel somewhat healthy here because it was all washed down with gin and tonic. The gumbo was nice and spicy and allother dishes were cooked perfectly. We were trying to quickly dig into the grilled cheese (cheese, bacon and tomato) a littletoo quickly causing the picture to be so blurry I couldn’t post it lol The environment was an upscale casual - the beauty ofthe building just naturally makes it feel nicer than your normal grille. Service and food were wonderful so if your in the areawe recommend grabbing a bite here. Read more
Excellent flavor and excellent service! The Majestic Grille throws you back in time with a silent movie and the layout. My one... disappointment was that although we had reservations already in place, we were sat in a spot where neither one of us could seethe large screen for the silent film which robbed us part of the experience. Absolutely love the 1920s vibe of this renovated movie theatre that still continues to play old movies like casablanca etc. I... love the ambiance here at Mjestic. I’ve never been disappointed no matter how many visits! Today I had salmon with ParmesanMashed potatoes and Brussels. Was definitely disappointed in the Brussels since they were undercooked. The salmon and mashedpotatoes were great. The ribs… definitely soft, tender, and fall off the bone ribs to come from a restaurant of this caliber.Our waitress was also amazing I wish I could tell you her name she was lovely a light skin lady with long hair. Honestly, expected more. While the food was ok, the atmosphere boasts more exceptional food than what is actually served.... Meaning, to match the excellent and unique atmosphere, the food would need to be elevated. Yes, went at lunch and wasn'texpecting dinner style food (i.e. several choices of steak or such), but did expect more than what was served. Got the grilledcheese due to lack of options and not wanting a burger. Husband got the majestic cheeseburger. We actually left half our fooduntouched due to fact of let down. The green salad was wonderful. Full of flavor, the olives, red onion and feta make a wonderful combination. The roasted... chicken was tender juicy and extremely tasty. The gravy and skin are full of hints of savory sage. The garlic mashed potatoespairs wonderfully with the Brussel sprouts. Will definitely return. Read more
