Went for lunch. Overall everything was good but not very memorable. The fried chicken liver appetizer was very good, but I... wasn't wild about the pepper jelly on them. Cheese grits were great. Red beans and rice was OK. The BBQ shrimp were OK but toosalty. Desserts were great, especially the chocolate one. Read more

Exceptional dining experience in a fun, entertaining part of Memphis! The atmosphere was quaint, yet still felt very lively... inside. This is in an old house and it might seem smaller inside, however we had no trouble sitting down at our table. The foodwas awesome! Perhaps one of the best brunches I’ve had in the Memphis area. I highly recommend the crawfish and pimento cheesefries! The staff was very friendly. We were seated promptly. Service was fast and our waitress was very attentive. I think thebar at this place looked really cool. Whenever I come back I am going to try to sit at the bar and try a few cocktails withbrunch. Overall this was a terrific spot to grab brunch. Loved it! Highly recommend. Read more

Second Line's food is actually really good! It is based on New Orlean's cuisine. The food is very flavorful and tasty. My... friend had the Redfish & Crawfish Pontchartrain, and she loved it! I had the Chubby Vegetarian Po Boy, which comes withmushrooms in a red wine sauce. Of course, there was a lot of bread like on all Po' Boys, but the mushrooms tasted amazing! Ialso had the red beans & rice! This dish was soooo good! For dessert, I had the Cookie Trio. It included a snickerdoodle cookiewith honey, a chocolate brownie with nutella, and maybe a sugar cookie with caramel, I believe. It was soo good! My parentsstated that they enjoyed the bread pudding! And, they love bread pudding! Please note, they rotate their desserts! So justbecause it's there one week, doesn't mean it will be there the next week unless it's their bread pudding or brownie. Fordrinks, I did not care for my original order, and I had it remade. I still did not care for it. I can't even remember the nameof it. My friend did enjoy her drink, which I think was a Strawberry Margarita. Eventually, I ordered a French 75 with brandy, and it was nice! Now, though the food was really good, what actually made my experience was the management's customer service. After we did not have a pleasant experience with our server, the manager stepped in and rectified the entire situation. Becauseof the manager's concern and care, I came back the very next weekend with my friends! God bless the manager! I think his name isMichael or Chris! Anywho, go visit! Hopefully, you won't be disappointed! Read more

The service was absolutely horrible. We waited 20 minutes for our first drink. Then they lost our order but still managed to... bring our other friend (who came half an hour after us) his food. It has now been 30 min since his food came out and ours isstill not (See picture below). Such good food here ,but this has now happen multiple times when coming here, so unfortunatelythis will be my last time coming here. Read more

Perfectly fried oysters with a greens salad, very lightly spiced cajun catfish and cheese grits???? A bit pricey but then again,... quality is seldom inexpensive these days???? Read more
