Chicken-good. Sauce-good. Biscuit-great. Service- good. Fries-awful. Fries were old/cooked in old grease, cold and some were not... cooked completely. I could not eat them which was a waste of money. Read more
It?s good but not great. They do have a 4% surcharge if you use a card. The service is friendly. The fried okra is amazing.

Hands down the best biscuit I've ever had. It's sweet and buttery. If you order them, eat them while they're hot. It's something... about texture that makes it melt. I also ordered some wings. Worth the trip! Been wanting to come here for years since we saw Uncle Lou on DDD. We are visiting from Detroit and gotta say... it?s WORTH IT!! Best biscuit I ever had and the fried chicken is out of this world. We even got to meet Uncle Lou and he?s asfriendly as he seemed on TV. The sauce is something unreal! I ordered the 4 piece mixed "Hot" with Mac N Cheese and the Cole Slaw. The chicken and sides were delicious. The "hot" sauce is... perfectly spicy. The sweet spicy vinegar sauce that the chicken was dipped into was great. The Mac was creamy and cheesy. Thecole slaw was homemade and complimented the chicken just right. I will be back for sure.
