Three of four ordered enchiladas and all three said they were the best that they thought they had ever had. The 4th person in... party ordered taco salad and thought it was very good also. Chips served with hot sauce were so good, three baskets vanishedquickly. You can order your choice of hot sauce, what was served with chips was too hot for my sensitive taste buds so Iordered mild and then you can also order the green which is according to them, very spicy. Some ordered the green sauce andagreed to find it very spicy. The whole visit was very nice. Went during time for lunch specials and the cost was veryreasonable. My wife had the tortilla soup and it was delicious. I had 2 enchiladas and a tamale. The enchiladas were nothing special and the... tamale was so hard that I couldn't cut it with my knife. I was making my wife laugh by hitting it with my fork and it soundedlike hitting a rock. Our server was great and I didn't even mention the tamale to her. Just passing thru and it wasn't herfault. About 26 of us family members showed up at 6pm. Our server, James, was excellent. Don't know how he made it thru all of us... without a problem. James got all our food to us and it was all still hot. Been going to this resturant for years. But after today we wont be back. Ordered food at 12:35 with my son. 1:15 still no food,... or refills. This place use to have the best service ever. The last 4-5 yrs its dropped. We'll be going to LaVilla from here onout. Read more
