Had a Patty Melt and the Cajun shrimp basket (not pictured) Whilst the costumer service was amazing and prompt, the food was... not Waiter stated everyone likes to order the patty melt, so I trusted that Pretty much an unseasonably frozen burger pattyreminiscent of my military days, bottom layer of the sandwich soaked in juices. Fries were "garlic" fries which I would haveassumed to be some garlic powder and such, instead it was I'd say 4 cloves of garlic worth of garlic raw, on the fries whichrendered them mostly inedible Cajun shrimp basket was good, maybe the patty melt was just a flop. Popped into this pub after being recommended by our BnB host. It?s really crowded when we went at 5 ish. Lots of folks in the... pub mingling around. There were no seats inside so we were seated at the semi outdoor area. There?s large heaters and cushioncovers if needed to make it less cold. Dinner was a nice Philly cheese sandwich and a cheese burger. Washed down with greatlocal brewed beer. I actually like the beer more than the burgers, the beer was light but flavourful. Great place for dinner while staying in beautiful Mendocino. ???????? recommended by the inn keeper at The Seafoam lodge Inn.... Definitely didn?t disappoint. Drinks and food were great. I had the Alfredo pasta with halibut protein and my partner in crimehad a steak infused salad so good ???? parking and seating is limited inside but they do offer additional seating outside undera tent with heaters as well. This place is very popular with the locals. The bar was full and colorful people relaxing andsharing stories of there day. If your passing through on highway #1 be sure to stop in for there clam chowder ????. Read more
We had the steamed clams and they were amazing, also cordon blue bits which were good. And the house Sauvignon Blanc and the... local Pilsner. Definitely a place people should visit, great pub. Read more

Great bar atmosphere although somewhat small. The menu however is much larger than expected, especially when including all the... nightly specials. We went with indoor seating on a very windy night and we?re not disappointed with our tacos and burgers. Anadded bonus - pick the kind of fries you want. The steak fries were wonderful. Patterson's is always yummy and a must-visit when in Mendocino. The hostess went above and beyond to get us a table despite the... long wait list. Lots of amazing specials. The fish and chips are so fresh and tasty. The salmon was delicious. BUT the sunsetcouldn't have been better ?? Read more
