My husband and I went to the restaurant for dinner. Food and portions phenomenal absolutely fantastic, you won't walk away... hungry that's for sure. The atmosphere dark and kind of creepy. Not a lot of windows in the place and there is stuff everywhere,every surface is covered with stuff including the ceiling it just makes you feel like you're in a overly decorated cave. Anyone locally familiar with the longtime favorite premiere Cocke & Kettle restaurant still mourn it's closing many years ago.... We recently dined at the Mendon Steak & Seafood restaurant in Mendon, Massachusetts. We haven't been there for a long while. I'mpleased to say we were completely amazed. The food was delicious, well prepared, with large portions of each item. No skimpingon anything. Our table server was beyond professional. The food came fairly quickly and was placed on our table in a manner youonly see in top tier restaurants. Polite, concerned, and friendly. I also want to say the eating areas were spotlessly clean,neatly set, and tables nicely spaced apart with respect for the times we live in today. There are huge expanded, relatively newtable areas to accommodate many patrons. The charm and interior beauty of this New England Steak & Seafood restaurant issomething to behold. The owner of this fine eatery deserves the highest compliments for creating a restaurant that is amasterpiece of food, service, and fun. Read more

Recommended by a local and it was delicious! Casual and 'old-school' vibe to the restaurant. Lots on the menu. Seafood chowder... was very good though a tad salty for my taste. However, the ribs may be the best ribs I've ever had! I've been dreaming aboutthem ever since! Rolls came out with blueberry cornbread and cinnamon rolls which were also really good. Portions were big andservice was excellent. Beer selection was really small but you come here for the food! I'm from out of town but hope to returnsometime for those ribs! Read more
Wow what a great place. We came in on Sunday and it was pretty busy. They got us right in. Waiter was great and easy to get... along with I had prime rib (melted in your mouth) and the lobster casserole. Really folks you need to go here. Read more
