We visited the new Hudson location last night for supper. The atmosphere was very fitting for downtown Hudson, and the servers... were all friendly and accomodating. However, the food was shockingly bland and unimpressive. For the price of the meals, itcertainly wouldn't take more than a few minor recipe changes to really elevate the food. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll bereturning for meals. With that said though, the martinis were wonderful! With the atmosphere and cocktails, this location doeshave promise for an enjoyable happy hour location. Edit in response to owner: At the time of trying the Hudson location, weknew it was a newer restaurant but it was unclear to us if it has been open a few days or a few weeks. As I mentioned before, the staff was wonderful and there were no hiccups in service. At the time of posting, my only issue was that the food was ratherbland in flavor. Given the price of the items and the fact there is another location in St. Paul that's seemingly successful, Ihad higher expectations for the flavor profile of the items. After reading the owner's sarcastic and rude response, we willcertainly take our business elsewhere. I have no doubts with time and feedback the menu items could improve, but based onprevious reviews, it seems the owner's attitude towards female customers will not irrespective of location. Its a chilly rainy monday at the office a couple of my employees are feeling under the weather. Historically whenever I'm... feeling ill a nice chicken pot pie does the trick. Living in Minnesota since 2000 it's always a challenge to find cuisine that'smade with comfort and originality. It's always a take away , but today was worst I searched the web for chicken pot pies near meand ran across this place! Red flags went up when asked for no onions and was told onions was in the mix! When my staff receivedthe food it was nothing as advertised, a bland chicken noodle soup and a puff pastry. When my staff explained this wasunacceptable he was treated as if he knew nothing about what a pot pie is supposed to be and was offered no option to rectifythe situation. Too many times these fly by night restaurants pass off garbage food with no presentation this is unacceptableand to find bay leaves in soup shows that these 60$ supposed to be pot pies was slopped together my harsh reality is if thisplace thinks something as simple as a pot pie supposed to be presented in such a way should stick to making cocktails. The food and service was great.. My friend and I had dinner here before the post Malone concert at the excellent energy center.... We were offered a shuttle service to and from the and from vieg arena.. On the way to the concert the owner and driver of theshuttle told us that he would pick us up outside of the excel energy center after the concert. My friend myself and 2 otherladies waited outside for over 20 minutes just to find out that the shuttle had left us behind. We called the restaurant to seewhere he was and she told us he had been back for quite some time and is no longer available. The 4 of us had to findalternative transportation give transportation back to our vehicles. I called a few days later to express my frustration. Ispoke with the owner himself who apologized for leaving us behind. He told me that he wanted my friend and I to return and givethem a second shot. He promised both my friend and I gift cards to come back to their restaurant.. It has been 3 weeks or moreand I have yet to receive my gift card. I am not pleased with the customer service I received. Read more

GET THE REUBEN BURGER! Unbelievable. So good. Fries were crispy and service was great. Best horseradish sauce around, too.

I don’t think Bennett’s is clear on what it is. Is it a martini bar? Is it a dive bar? Is it a steakhouse? The white table... cloths with the smoker vibes were very confusing. The food was okay- I thought it was fairly priced and the drinks were strong. Our server was gracious with our table of 10, but I don’t feel the need to go back anytime soon. Read more

This place was great. First while it is a white linen dining area, they are definitely pretty low key here. Nothing "uppity"... about this place. There is a bar with 5-6 TVs and some other TV's throughout the restaurant, jukebox, pull tabs, basically thestaples of any bar. Second the food. We had a group of six, and honestly everything was really good. The portions were prettylarge and the prices are pretty great. They have a prime rib special on Saturdays which is listed at 14oz but I swear it wascloser to 24oz and it only cost $24. Pretty much a steal when you include the salad and potatoes that come with it. Finally, onemember of our group had a couple of Buffalo Trace old fashioneds and was blown away at how cheap they were. Overall this placehas quality staff, food, and prices and I would highly recommend checking it out, especially if you want a less stuffy steakhouse experience. Read more

This is one of my favorite St. Paul places to eat. I've never had anything I didn't like here and the staff are always so nice... and friendly. They also have really good soups to start your meal. We had beef barley soup and it was awesome. Then my co-workerand I had the Chicken Kiev and wild rice. Superb! Read more

This place exceeded all our expectations!! My mom has a coupon and she called the day before and the SUPER NICE gentleman was so... nice about us using it. We had a party of 6 and when we arrived he had the table set up perfectly on the patio. The same guy whoserved us was so accommodating and it really made us enjoy our burger even more. I got the sticky burger which has peanutbutter!!!! We cannot wait to come back again!! Read more
