The appetizers, potato salad and beet salad, were delicious and beautifully plated. My friends also ordered a burger and the... katsu sandwich, which they thought were super delicious, but I didn't try. We ordered a full order of karaage, and the amount wereceived was much more than we could have expected! It was a huge plate of chicken! That said, it was a bit soggy and too saltyto eat. There is plenty of parking, the staff was really kind, and the patio was lovely with plenty of space. I'd love to givethis place another try in the future. Read more
Date night on the patio was a success ? delicious, thoughtful menu and truly exceptional service! The staff were very welcoming... & friendly without being overbearing. Genuinely interested in the quality of our experience. I highly recommend the heirloomtomato salad to start from the current seasonal menu (beautifully balanced flavors) and also trying out a sake flight. Thekaraage chicken was excellent, too. I really can't praise this place enough. The food and drinks offerings were creative & outstanding, and the service was... fantastic. The wild mushrooms were the star at our table, but the cauliflower and the beets were simply fantastic as well. Read more
What a wonderful meal! My wife and I dined on 05/06. Super cool concept and the food was excellent! Elijah our server was great!... Very attentive and helpful with suggestions. Adam (head chef and I think owner) was very gracious too. Got to have aconversation with him towards close. The food itself was very flavorful and portions were just right to try a few things and befull but not feeling like someone needs to roll you out of there. Highly recommend the beet salad with whipped pistachio goatcheese and the Hangar Steak was cooked perfect. Interesting cocktails and definitely a place to stop if you are a sake fan. A+experience. My husband and I haven't been out in a long while & he found this gem that we had the pleasure of trying tonight. Live music,... fantastic drinks & the most delicious, unique food we have had in a LONG time. The owners are some of the nicest humans that wehad the pleasure to chat with during our visit. We got to hear a lot about the menu & preparation that goes into each dish -hard to find anything like this near us. We hear there are some really fun events over the next month! I can't say enough about this new gem we found. ROK Eatery is helm by three guys who not only know how to make delicious and... visually stunning food, but make you feel like family. The food is delicious. Every bite is like a mosaic of flavors layered ontop of each other and work so well together. We enjoyed the food so much, we had lunch there and then two hours after running anerrand, we dropped by for dinner. They have a good thing going at ROK. These are some of the luscious, sexy delights from theirsummer menu. Fall menu starts next week. Amazing people, great service, and great food. Definitely a new favorite. Read more
As someone who has tried many restaurants in the Twin Cities, ROK is a must try. The service is awesome, they?re really... friendly. The food was fresh and beautifully put together. I?m vegan and got to try most of the foods we ordered. Mushrooms werethe best. Love the tapas style shared plates:) It?s a really cool environment. We googled pop up restaurants in St. Paul and ROK came up. We looked at the menu and decided we should check it out. We were not... disappointed, the cocktails were great, clean ingredients, and the food was delicious and prepared with such skill. Charles wasare server, and very helpful, we started with the Carrots, and Pork Tenderloin was so tender! Savored every bite! We ended themeal with the Lemon tart!
