A hole in a wall on El Camino in Menlo park. Almost home made comfort mexican food. They have a ton of vegetarian and vegan... options with one of the best tasting vegan meats ever. If you like spice, their hot salsa is to die for. Read more

Food was absolutely delicious. Flavor was extremely complex. Portion sizes on the relatively small side almost tapas like. Price... is probably the only downside, it?s a touch pricy for the amount of food. Parking outside wasn?t an issue when we went duringdinner time on a weekend. Outdoor seating was nice as well. Great fresh pupusas! It was wonderful to watch them make them as you ordered as I've always wondered how they were made. Also... ordered a burrito for my daughter and it was flavorful and bursting at the seams with ingredients. Recommend for a quicklunch/dinner or to go. Read more

Finding pupusas in Menlo Park is not easy, so when I saw a few weeks ago this place was opening up I got excited. Today I went... there for lunch. From outside, this place doesn't seem attractive but inside you find a modern well-designed cozy place with anopen kitchen. I ordered two pupusas and horchata (note: you order at the counter and they call your number when food is ready).Food was prepared very quickly. The horchata was delicious, but it would be better if they add ice as it was not that cold. Thepupusas looked like what I was expecting ( see photos) and the taste was good. Things that could improve: As a person that grewup eating pupusas, I know what a good pupusa is-- the inside ingredients (e.g. cheese, beans, pork) are normally well mixedtogether and distributed evenly in the pupusa....at this place the cheese was on one side, the beans on another and the pork onanother side in the pupusa.....although the ingredients tasted good i felt disappointed they were not properly mixed to have a100% pupusa.-----i hope next time i go it is better :) Also, I was surprised with the pupusa price $4 dollars! Every place insan francisco or south bay area, the pupusa prices are below $3 dollars..... Most items in the menu are mexican food, thepupusas are Salvadorean food. Read more
