What a great atmosphere! This is a bar/restaurant that you'd want to spend some time at whether you were staying at the hotel... or not. The Tavern burger was great, the beer selection, featuring almost all local breweries, was fantastic, and having a fewTVs on in the background to keep track of the games made for a really comfortable, relaxing evening with the family. This past weekend we gathered a large group to begin a reunion weekend. Menlo Tavern rolled out the red carpet and we were able... to reserve a fire pit area. It was a tough ask of the staff as people arrived at varied times but the service was attentive andaccommodating. The appetizers, drinks, and music were the perfect backdrop for the evening. Everyone had a great time andpersonally, the s’mores were a highlight! Thank you to the staff! Read more

The Menlo Tavern is a fantastic place to enjoy a quiet, delicious meal in a beautiful atmosphere. The chef really knows his... stuff, and the staff is glad to meet any dietary restrictions you may have. From their breakfast omelets, to lunchtime burgers,to their amazing seafood, everything is fresh and fantastic. As an added benefit, Ron, behind the bar, is a true "mixologist",with profound cocktail skills. Try any of his masterful creations - you can't go wrong! Read more

What a special treat! We only recently found out that this long time local favorite has transformed into the place to be! With... live music every day from 6-9pm with various musical acts sure to delight every guest looking for live music in a charmingcourtyard venue. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and outstanding! Be sure to check out the 11 person bandWobbly World and a Tuesday evening for truly global musical experience! Read more

This is our go to place. The ambience is amazing with the large fire pits and the great bands they have every night (in the... summer). We often come here just to sit at the fire pits, listen to music, grab some drinks and food/snacks, etc. The food isgreat as a full menu can be ordered at the fire pits or at the proper seating area. If going for dinner and want to be seatedoutside, I’d recommend booking reservations as can sell out. Highly recommend as definitely a hidden gem in Menlo Park / PaloAlto. Read more

Fantastic food, service and ambiance on the terrace with live music. I highly recommend the Tavern Burger, although all the... appetizers, entrees and dessert we ordered at our table were great. The service was a particular standout as the waitstaff waskind, attentive and swift in serving both drinks and food. Fantastic experience and we look forward to coming back soon! Read more

Menlo Tavern is a great location for a bit fancier of meals and ambiance close to Stanford Campus. The staff was all amazing and... very friendly and the courses were very very tasty. Our server was very knowledgeable about each dish and the many questions weasked about where things were from, what was in different dishes, or recommendations to try. I'd be interested to try a samplerplate if they ever create one as there were many different options on the menu that seemed interesting to try. I do not normallygive out a five star review, but the staff and food were amazing and deserved all five stars. If I were to look for an area ofconstructive feedback, the menu was confusing in use of periods versus commas, but did not detract heavily from the overallexperience. Read more

I had dinner here for the first time. I wanted to check out the restaurant for a while, I’ve seen their marketing and knew... about the renovation. The bar and restaurant look great. It’s a cozy atmosphere. The menu selection is narrow but seasonal.the cocktail list is nice and the ones we chose were good and nicely presented (Luna Roja & Lune d’esturgeon). For dinner, myhusband and I shared the flatbread, the green goddess salad, the short rib and finished with the molten chocolate cake. Ourfavorite were the flatbread and molten chocolate cake. We were not too crazy about the pickled carrot and beets served with theshort rib. We will come back to try breakfast. Read more
