WOW! Talk about loaded hotdogs! Yooper Dogz has them! Everything from classic Chicago Style to "Cheesy Poodle". The dogs are... grilled, not boiled to order, so don't expect a quickly tossed together dog and bun. These are crafted and take a little time tocreate. They are well worth the short wait. Left to right in the attached picture are: Cheesy Poodle, Husky, and Cattle Dog. No,the Corgi under the table is not on the menu. Yooper Dogz is a bit off the main drag but worth the side trip. Friendly, fast, extra care service. I bought the Yooper dog and I was surprise it was two delicious dogs in a homemade bun... topped with loads of cheese, bacon and onions. It was so much food. I skipped dinner that night.They had many different Dogz tochoose from. Read more
Chupacabra special with sautéed veggies was great. And loaded hashbrowns - complex flavor in a side dish. Not just fill up... food. Really great stuff. The only idea I have is...an in-house cheese sauce instead of the food service stuff. Read more

My wife and I decided to find out for ourselves .. was Yooper Dogz as great as everyone is saying? YES. Great place, great... personal service (have your specialty dogz just the way you like them!).. no skimping on the ingredients either. Totally worththe price? you?ll pay even more for this kind of quality in larger cities. There were actually TWO hot dogs in each bun.. andwhen we noticed this, they explained how they started out with a quarter-pound dog.. but they?re having a supply problem withthe vendor.. and they weren?t getting the great ?look? they were after when they got cooked, so they wanted to keep the qualityhigh, and decided ?just make sure there?s 1/4 pound of meat or more in the bun until we get it settled!?. Just gotta love thiskind of ?more for your money? business model. I?m a big eater.. one of their Dogz was plenty! I had the Chicago K9, and I?mfrom Chicago.. they got it right! Poppyseed bun, celery salt, not-too-hot peppers, sweet pickle relish, fresh tomatoes andonions with a dill pickle on top. NO KETCHUP, just yellow mustard, thank you very much! NAILED IT! Made to order, absolutely massive hot dogs. Perfect amount of hot and spicy, not too greasy. Cozy restaurant that will consider... catering if you make a serious offer. Great service, coke products for drinks, plus chips and candy. Read more
