Today was my first time going to Sal's for takeout for a small cheese and sausage pizza I'm rating this restaurant on one star... because the staff was friendly, however the food was terrible. The pizza had literally no sauce you couldn't taste any sauce thecrust was super super thin and the pizza was over cooked.The trip there there definitely was a waste of time money and gas. Thiswas my first and last time ever going to Sal's pub and grill I am not curious to see what the other food taste like. Read more
Love this place! As to the review about the black mold....its not black mold! Obviously this person isn't in the service... industry or a chemist! I've never had a bad experience here and the owner is always supporting our veterans and the community . Read more
Totally gross with black mold where the drinks are made!! Get it together with sanitary rules in place!!
My first visit and found it too be a very nice place. Bartender very friendly and outgoing! My guest and I had the same meal a... haddock fish fry and clam chowder. The meal was excellent, and would recommend it too everyone. I will be back in the area inmid December and plan on having a burger which I was told are very good. We'll see. Read more
First time ordering from Sals. I am a big wing fan, but the wings here are on the smallest side of edible, were way over cooked... and very dry. This size is normally what you would find in a $0.25 wing night special and not on an everyday menu. Sauce issquirted over the top rather than tossed so some of the wings had little to no sauce and not much left in the bottom to coatthem. Maybe I will ty them again, maybe not. Some places are best just left alone and not for me. Read more
Update: after a really bad time at Wisconsin on Tap, here we are...back at Sals! Salvatore is amazing! Learned well from dad I... think! Personal service, great food and awesome atmosphere!! Skip these other menomonee falls bars and go here!!! Excellent foodand great service! Have always loved Sal's...friendly staff, awesome owner, good food (try the clam chowder!!), good drinks,pool tables, games, nice seating area. Check it out. Read more
