I went to 6th Avenue Cidery one time and received terrible service. I was with 5 other friends and we were all denied service... because they thought we weren?t old enough to drink. Although, we are all 22+. 3 of us are also bartenders and have ourbartending license.\n\nWe understand the owner was protecting her business and understand the laws around serving alcohol andrunning a business. We were willing to call the police to confirm our ID?s and I don?t know what minors would be willing to getin trouble with the police to do that. It didn?t make any sense but now\n\n!!!! it makes sense why the place was empty when wearrived !!!!\n\nWe asked how we could prove that we are over 21 and the owner did not give us any options. We felt embarrassedand disrespected that we were of age and there was still nothing they could do to work with us. We asked to prove our agebecause we would like to come back in the future but now we do not plan to come back. I would have to bring my social securitycard, passport, etc. to get into this place and it?s not worth the experience or service. Read more
I was very excited to check out this cidery I just learned about it from a friend and with Menomonie being a small town I was... excited to hear there is a new unique spot to get drinks in town. But, was extremely disappointed when they would not serve myfriends or I because they weren?t sure our IDs our real. We are all 3 in our 5th year of hospitality and although we understandit?s important to be cautious it was very frustrating to be told there was nothing we could do to be able to experience the newand only cidery in town even though we have the legal right. I brought my friends to 6th Avenue Cidery excited to drink at the only cidery in town, to then get denied after checking our... ID?s claiming she didn?t trust they were real.\n\nAfter we are explained to her we were all super seniors in college and almost23, she still continued to insist that she trusts her staffs judgement. We explained we wouldn?t mind if she called the policeto come prove we were over 21 and she still insisted on denying us service.\n\nI?m not one to ever leave reviews, this is myfirst one actually because i was so disappointed and frustrated with the rude staff and poor service we received from the secondwe walked in. Last weekend, we went to the 6th Avenue Cidery for my daughter?s birthday. We had a couple of their hard ciders, which we... thought were good ? but I was impressed with our bartender Tyler, who actually made a proper Long Island Iced Tea. It is thebest Long Island I have had in decades. Their drinks are hand crafted ? they don?t cop out by utilizing mixes. The décor isclean and modern while still being fun.\n\nWe had several of their appetizers, one of them twice it was so delicious. Definitely try their Twisted Nachos. Best of all, it was a relaxed atmosphere that is geared towards the community. There weregames available to play and we were encouraged to play our own. My family and I played cards while we enjoyed our food anddrinks. What an amazing addition to Menomonie. Read more

We went to 6th Avenue Cidery this past weekend and had a great time. The ciders were very tasty, and we tried two shareables;... Twisted Nachos and Chicken & Biscuits.
