Many people like the chicken pesto pizza, but we found it mostly to be a slab of cheese with chicken and tomato decoration.... There was a tiny hint pesto, but it was much milder than what I would call a pesto pizza. The store is a fun place to shop. Theyhave things I had never seen before. Such a cute place! So many great unique (but also useful) souvenirs from artisans. They also have counter service lunch items... from grab and go premades, to sit down options. Great place to grab a quick bite and get out of the heat and off your feet. Itdoes get pretty crowded at times. They also have a well stocked little grocery section, perfect selection for if you've rented acabin nearby. Lots of high end treats but also delicious staples. Worth the drop in! Read more
A little treasure in Mentone. I had the hot ham and cheese with potato salad and a cup of chili. Fun and friendly atmosphere.
We love this place. For starters, it's the only place in the area that you can count on to be open. It's not 24/7 by any means... but at least open normal business hours, which is a lot more than any other place in town. Prices are very reasonable, too. TheBBQ is delicious. Nice selection of beers. Hot breakfast sandwiches. Cold sandwiches. Soft drinks. Nice local gifts. Friendly,helpful staff. For my money, it's one of maybe two places in the town of Mentone worth stopping for. Read more
