A rare gem and a hometown favorite, this might be the best A&W in the state. While the main course dishes and the staff are... superb, it's the desserts that really put the restaurant on a whole other level. Perfect for friends, families, inexpensive latenight cravings and after-school hangouts, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better bite to eat (or a better, creamier Root Beer toenjoy), with also such a reasonably priced menu. I have to say that this place made me think of the olden days. Jk. I can remember my grandparents taking me here when I was... younger. Didn't go there much but could always remember the root beer floats. They were always one of my top faves. I had awonderful day this day, got to go to my son's first field trip and finished it with a bang eating here. I have to say theservice was excellent and the food was fresh. The staff there were extremely helpful and great cooks/servers. I just want to say"that the food was excellent and are definitely making a trip back." Thanks A&W for everything. See you soon. I have to say they are still classic! After all this year's I can still taste the original flavor. The Papa burger nice portion... and super juicy hamburger. The Cod and shrimp basket super delicious as well. Definitely will be my regular spot to go back formore. Oh yes oh yes them chili fries!!! DELICIOUS!! 10/10 on everything o order. I have driven by this place up and down from Big bear my whole life and have always been curious to try it. I was delightely... impressed with the food quality. Much better than a lot of the fast food today. I especially loved the onion rings, It was avery nice meal after snowboarding. 8/10 Read more
