Went on a Wednesday afternoon for dinner, no wait and our server was prompt and very friendly. My husband got the stuffed... mushrooms and said they were okay. We both got steaks (him the cowboy, me the larger filet) and they were also just okay. Frozentype french fries ... Other sides were also just okay. Definitely not worth the $53 and $43 price tags attached to them. Nexttime we'll go to Outback or Longhorn, spend $20 less and eat much better food. Read more

I came in town for a few days and decided to go to Austin?s Grill, which happened to be on their first Sunday being open. Food... was great and cooked perfectly, our waitress was very helpful with ordering having never been there before. My husband, daughter and I went last night. Made a reservation online, got there a bit early but was sat right away. Our waiter... Jordan was The Best!! Friendly, knowledgeable and funny. I had the Onion soup, it was GREAT. The serving size was large, so I wasn't concerned about the price. The dinner came with... salad which was a small side salad. My dinner was the 5 oz. fillet with fresh broccolli. The steak was large, cooked exactlyto medium rare and I took 1/2 home. Waitress was always smiling, the drink special was a raspberry margarita. Our server at 430 Wednesday March 9 2022 was the best I have seen work in decades. Perfect timing, no hovering, food came out... together. She was excellent and we tipped her accordingly. Now the food, which was pretty good all in all. The shrimp bisque wasvery tasty. We think it may be because it's base tasted like to beer cheese soup also on the menu. The black and blue scallopswere excellent as was the mac n cheese (but I let it sit a tad too long making it grainy-purely my fault so eat it quickly). Theslaw was ok. It had a very strong mayo flavor and little else. We had the baby backs which looked incredible by their size andpresentation. BUT my first bite was burnt, which happens sometimes, and many other parts throughout the half rack were dry as adesert, the same for others in the party. Our server was excellent. We didn't have to wait to be seated on a Sunday evening. Meals are a bit pricey. Overall I enjoyed my... experience. My prime rib had some inconsistent flavors that I wasn't into. It seemed to me to be like a liquid smoke flavor itreminded me of fire but it wasn't an actual fire taste. That was strange. The NY strip was my favorite. The asparagus was cookedperfectly. The environment is very nice. I like the out door seating. Oh, and they had matches in a bowl at the door.
