I see this will not be a common complaint... We ordered two blizzards, one came as soup, the other completely incorrect. (Ok, no... big deal, mistakes happen.) Went into the establishment to ask for the correct blizzard, and received vanilla ice cream with afraction of the toppings. I think the Mentor-on-the-lake location will be receiving our business going forward. Read more
Manager, Josh, went above and beyond for a 9 year old little boy who was under my care for the day and was sad ?because he... didn?t get a birthday cake or presents for his birthday?. We made a quick, impromptu stop at DQ and put together a small partywith a group of kids.I didn?t find out until later that day that he was also grieving the loss of a close family member. AVOID THIS LOCATION. Used to be our favorite location. Ordered food and blizzards. Chicken sandwich was gross. My choco brownie... Blizzard is supposed to have, "Chewy brownie pieces, choco chunks and cocoa fudge blended with creamy DQ® soft serve toBlizzard® Treat perfection," only has small chocolate flakes. It's basically just chocolate ice cream. If you're out oftoppings, you should be informing customers instead of giving them incomplete items. I don't know if this location is under newmanagement or something but I'm extremely disappointed. Read more
They never put anything in the blizzards I?ve gotten. As in not even a sprinkle of a topping. It?s just plain vanilla ice cream... in a cup. Read more
I just went to this location and ordered three blizzards with extra toppings in them and they didn?t even have the normal... amount. My brownie blizzard literally had no brownie pieces in it even though I paid for extra and this isn?t the first timestuff like this has happened recently. I used to love this location and have been trying to give it another chance but it?s justnot worth it anymore. Definitely wouldn?t recommend to anyone. Read more
My wife and I have enjoyed Dairy Queen forever. It was disappointing to buy a Peanut Buster Parfait at the drive-up window that... was mostly liquid. We had pulled into a parking space at the movie theater next door to enjoy our DQ. I took off the cap andliquid poured from the container onto the paper bag I put on my lap. Dairy Queen on hot days was never melted like this. Read more
If you want to know why Dairy Queen in Mentor never improves on anything just call corporate. They said they would be happy to... pass on my complaint, but because it is a franchise they cannot control how the owner runs the business. He stated, and Iquote, " If the owner wants to run it into the ground and have it close it is the owners choice." Clearly, the owner of theMentor location couldn't care less, which explains the attitude of some of the employees. Read more
