I seemed to have unfortunately arrived about 10 minutes before shift change(345pm), and I was served obviously flash deep fried,... old food(fries, fish, chicken). Rough scene good food. Floors were sweating and whats worse greasy. Tables were all just cleaned but needed dried. We asked for... napkins and dried the table ourselves. Staff was great and brought food out to us wonderful personalities. Read more
Took my mom to Long John Silver's for her birthday after living for many years in an area where there were none. The classic... fish and chicken haven't changed, exactly what we were expecting. The few large shrimp with our meal were particularly good,better than I expected honestly. Mom really enjoyed the coconut popcorn shrimp and I enjoyed my crab cake. If we go back (wedon't eat out much, and it was a bit of a drive) I want to try their grilled shrimp. There was quite a crowd for lunch that day,and only the people working, one up front and two in the back, but they were efficient and the lady up front was really sweet.She was very busy but still very kind. Holy cow, this place has gone downhill! So filthy. Every table is dirty and sticky. One table is being used to portion cocktail... sauce, there's an open tin can of sauce with a spoon in it and portion cups all over the table, half eaten food sitting rightnext to it from whoever was working there. Floors are dirty, garbage cans nasty. I'm still waiting on my order, butcontemplating whether or not I made a good decision! Update: food is what it is for Long John's. At least there's that. I'mjust shocked at the condition the place is in for the public to see. Don't they have pep areas in the kitchen? I don't even wantto know what the kitchen looks like behind those doors. Read more
They seem to have some issue over their dining room hours, not as posted on Google. It's a good idea to call ahead to make sure... they 're open. We went there yesterday and they weren't letting people dine in, then changed their minds when we started toleave. People who came in after us were turned away. Dining room was closed at 7:00 or so. Food was delicious, actually thebest I've ever had at this location. Reopening teething troubles. Read more
