I went to the Mentor Olive Garden 2 weeks ago. I haven't been in years and was excited. We received dirty silverware with food... stuck on it. We had to wait to begin our meal, until we got the waitress attention. She brought out another set of dirtysilverware. I told her to inform the manager, because now our food is getting cold. Third times a charm. It wasn't her fault,but it was an inconvenience. I was ready to go after that. She informed us that the dishwasher was broke and they were handwashing the dishes. Not good!!! A simple to go order. They first bring it out without the salad. When she returned with the salad it was a container with... croutons and dressing sitting on top of it. No bag, no silverware. The receipt having nothing checked off is actually correct. Idid not receive any of those things. I'm glad I was just in the area and the regular option for dinner. I recommend trying oneof the other restaurants in the area. There are plenty to choose from. Incidentally, the salad was completely full of onions, ontop and throughout. Food was ok as always ..service was great (he had the same line for every table he greeted) Kevin I think our servers name was... …. We needed water refills and waited 15 minutes for them and more than 10 minutes for our second bowl of soup …. Fantastic food and service. I don’t know what it is about the house Italian dressing that makes it stand out from any other.... But it would be easy to fill up on salad and breadsticks. Read more
Had an AMAZING server named Gabe, I believe, on Sunday October 2, 2022. He was seriously one of the best servers we’ve ever... had. He was so informative, exceptionally kind and professional, and checked on us the perfect amount. He continuously broughtout fresh drinks when we were low. He would kindly ask if he could remove a used plate/bowl from our table and gave us somegreat recommendations too. He truly deserves recognition because you can tell he really cares for the people he’s serving andis dedicated to making the experience stress free and fun! Thank you so much Gabe!
