So the reviews said this place was good. We got seated quickly waited on faster. Food well the appetizers were the best part. I... got the pick 3 w pulled pork sausage and chix. My husband got the pulled pork sausage and "smoked chix " the pulled pork wascold. The chix was not smoked. Talked to manager but we will see if they fix. i don’t have no complaints, i haven’t been here since i was a kid. my mom and i shared the crowd pleasers platter. my mom... had the brisket grilled cheese, i had a brisket platter. the waiter was super nice and very attentive which is a plus in mybook. the appetizer was good, the fries and nachos was my favorite. my brisket was kind of dry to me, but luckily for me theyhad good barbecue sauce so it helped with the dryness, but overall the food was decent. before i forget my drink was sodelicious, it was called pineapple passion if i’m not mistaken. i’ll be back for the nachos and drinks! This was out third time here. I was hoping the first two times we waited forever for our food was a fluke so we gave then a... third try. Unfortunately we waited well.over an hour for our dinner. Only 4 of us, easy menu items. The waitress was supersweet and the food of course is amazing as well as the atmosphere. The wait is what will keep.us from.coming back again. That'sa shame because the food is so good. Well Smokys we will miss your Incredible smoked food but I.I could have killed the cowsmoked it and cooked it in half the time. Ok the food came. The wait to even be greeted when we walked in was entirely too long! There was a young lady prepping something at the counter... and not once did she say, "welcome to Smokey Bones someone will be with you shortly" or anything. My daughter actually had tocall the restaurant from the lobby for us to get any assistance. Then the hostess came and asked, "do y'all need to be seated?"Wow! I mean you see four adults and a baby sitting in your lobby what did you think we were there for??! Anyway, come to findout the young lady who never acknowledged us at all was our server... SMH. I started not to tip her when it was all said anddone but I did give her over 20% of a tip because I'm not gonna block my blessings doing wrong to those I feel wronged me. Theydid a good job spacing customers out. We were the first ones there so fortunately there were only 6 other customers inside bythe time our food came and we were done eating. Now about the food! Everything I had was delicious! See photos. I do think theyneed a bell or chimes or something to alert them (if they are in the back) when a customer enters. Was seated immediately, was pretty dead for a Saturday night. Only 6 other tables and food took over 40 minutes to come. Our... server said the kitchen was under staff and kept apologizing for it. Food was awesome. Very good. Can't complain. Our serverwas very nice and checked up on us not a ton but just enough not to forget about us. Came in at 5:30 pm, ordered drinks , appetizers, and entrées. Recieved our apps at 6:30 and entrées right after. Food was... terrible, old ,dry, not edible. Very bad unfortunately. Read more
