Hopefully the Management at Zaffiro's will read this review and take note as to how the restaurant is run. I like Zaffiro's. ... Before Covid, I would go to Zaffiro's for $5 movie night. Have a pizza before the show and then take our cocktails into thetheater. It WAS great. After Covid, Zaffiro's has gone downhill as far as service. Sadly, I know every business is lackingthe good service they once had. Hard to find not only employees at all, but good ones that actually want to work. I had beento Zaffiro's a few times in the past 2 years. Food was always okay but the service was always very slow. The service Ireceived in my party of 6 a few weeks ago however was laughable. We had a server that had only worked there a short time. Henever came around for us to order drinks so we went to the bar ourselves. Are order was 2 pizza's, mac & cheese & wrap. TheMac & Cheese and wrap came first. We didn't want to begin eating until everyone received their order. After waiting about 20minutes, we nibbled at our food hoping the pizza would arrive shortly. Finally a person in our party went up to the bar andexpressed his disappointment that neither pizza had arrived yet. After another 20 minutes (and some of us had already finishedour meal) the pizza arrived. We were told the 2nd pizza would be right up. Mind you, this entire time our server never camearound to see if we wanted any more drinks or needed anything. Also, the restaurant was hardly 1/2 full so it's not like it wasa busy evening for them. The table next to us with 2 young (& hungry) children received their pizza after over an hour. Theysaid their 1st pizza to arrive was burnt, the 2nd one got dropped and they were waiting for their 3rd. So now our 1st pizza wasgobbled down and we were (at this point) IMpatiently waiting for our 2nd pizza. After another complaint to the bar, the Managerfinally came over to apologize. She said there were problems in the kitchen (lack of staffing I'm a Read more

Horrible service! If you can eat before or after the movie at another restaurant, do so and save yourself the trouble! Got to a... black panther 30 mins early and ordered a large carnivore pizza and got a #72 buzzer.. watched all the previews and the moviestarted.. people coming in late & way after me with pizza and yet my buzzer still hasn’t went off, had to leave the movie justto be told they’re still working on it 45 mins later.. could hear the staff giggling and wise cracks from the kitchen.. staffis unapologetic and nonchalant as if they could careless.. not the first time it happened either but definitely will be thelast.. Pizza is pretty good. It's thin and almost cracker like which I found to be pretty interesting. We did have a Cesar Salad which... was good and really large and both my husband and I were able to eat from it. The hot honey hot wings were a 10 and absolutelydelicious. On game days they have a $5 off any large pizza special. This particular Zaffrino's is connected to North ShoreTheater so is a great place to stop in to eat before going to watch a movie. Parking is in front and on the side. To go ordersseem common as they have spaces outside for pickup and the atmosphere seems good. Our waitress was very attentive but I didnotice that they have a very large sign asking for applicants and it definitely seems like a good place to work. One other thingI would like to add is that it is not loud in here. You can eat and have a conversation. Great place would definitely visitagain if I was in the area. Read more

This place has messed up my order in some big way all 3 of the times I’ve eaten here. One time, they gave my pizza to some... other customer. I had to press a manager to figure out what was even going on with my order. This place seems to be operated byawful teenagers who couldn’t care less if they tried. When you call to place an order, your lucky if they even pick up. Mostof the time it just rings and rings. When they do pick up, they just immediately put you on hold and throw the phone down so youcan hear the teenage waiters yell profanities. Really great that this is attached to a theater, as if the movie theater businessneeded anymore challenges right now. Awesome restaurant, 150/10 stars. So good Read more

3 of us came in for pizza b4 the movie. We got a large pizza & a medium pizza with 3 lemonades. The waitress never told us it... was pink lemonade (and what makes that worth $4 a glass? WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for a cheap icky version & not as good as REGlemonade!) she was not rude but she definitely was not nice and was not very informative at all. I'm glad that I had a couponfor 50% off of a large pizza Because we didn't really order correctly the way we should have with the 2 diff pizzas and Iwished she would have suggested a better way to do it but she did not. And to say that our meal wld have been $61 before tax.THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS!! Come on Zaffario's!! why are you gouging your customers?? Why ruin a good thing??? Read more

After seeing a movie we decided to give this place a try. Having to wait 20 minutes for a table in a mostly empty dining room... should have been a little concerning. After some time we were able to grab a seat at the bar. Not once did the bartender comeover to us, pick up the glasses left by last people or even make eye contact. Pager went off and we were seated. Another longwait was in store. Several waitstaff walked past our table in a mostly empty dining area and not one person made any eye contactor spoke to us. 15 minutes later someone finally came to our table. She was pleasant, made no apologies about the wait and tookour drink and appetizer order. Having seen the bartender disappear for a very extended time period we knew it would be a whilebefore our drinks arrived. Wine arrived 10 minutes later nearly same time as the zucchini fries, not overly odd except for thefact that there wasn't that many customers in there dining. Our pizza arrived and sadly it was a little disappointing. Crustpieces were pretty good but the pieces farther in were on top of very soggy crust. Had the place been packed with customers Imay have expected long wait times, possible issues with food but being there were very few in there dining this all seemed alittle off putting. Being that there are much better pizza places in the area with much better customer service we will not beback Read more

We have been loyal customers for years. The quality the past 6 months has gone downhill, and it’s awful. They often get our... order wrong (leaving 1 item off of a salad). The pizza size is shrinking. This salad and pizza cost us $50. Really? The pizzais burnt in parts and smaller than it used to be. I searched for a way to email Zaffiro’s with my comments but I can’t finda place to submit anything. That too, is very frustrating. Read more

Our 3-top was seated at 6pm. We ordered 2 appetizers, a pizza to split, and daughter ordered chicken parm. Chicken parm came... out at 6:10. No appetizers. Daughter finished her meal. Pizza came out wrong at 6:30 and we sent it back. First appetizer cameout at 6:35 - Cheese bread. 2nd appetizer (bruscetta) came out at 6:40. Way different than I remember. We still have noutensils. See pic. of bruscetta "soup". It was SALTY. Pizza arrived at 6:45. Read more
