I gave this restaurant another chance after previous bad experiences and it’s another one for the final straw! I sat at the... bar after my friend cancelled for a event at SIP then a old friend who just finished getting her hair done arrived around 8:00sitting next to me. Though I was finished with my food I decided to order another wine and catch up while she ordered her pasta.Around 8:35 the bartender decided to just place both of our checks down in front of us and then she disappeared for sometime. Myfriend wasn’t finished yet and she wanted another glass of wine so I asked someone around 8:55 and he said we’re closed. Soyou close at 9:00 I said that’s not good service and nobody gave us last call before placing the checks down, you’retechnically still supposed to be serving. I’d been there longer and I was done but my friend wasn’t. Then some arrogantuptight man came to the bar with attitude… I called them on the rudeness and said we’d expect more from a fine diningestablishment! His response was “those old rules of service are gone and would you expect me to stay open another hourcosting $200 p/hour for your 1 glass of wine?” So that’s not the right answer to win customers over, it’s pathetic thehours last night were from 4-9 and they can’t even treat the customers right and stay open for 5 hours. Highly recommend. Food never disappoints at Zarletti’s. We were seated in the patio area this evening and had the best service... that I can remember out of any dining experience we’ve had over the past couple years. José was the name of our waiter andalthough I usually don’t take time to write a review…his outstanding service really stood out and deserves a 5-star review!We hope to have José as our server again next time! Zarletti in Mequon was a beautiful venue to host a Bridal Shower. The Event Planner and her staff were friendly and... accommodating. The food and mimosas were delicious. They made our celebration perfect! I highly recommend them. Read more
We got there early and the dining room was empty but the hostess sat us next to the bar that was full from a previous party,... people were actually standing around our table. Luckily our waitress realized this and re-sat us. She was awesome though out ourentire service! We made to sure to compensate her accordingly. Read more
Some food was amazing. The specials weren’t all that special. That being said my pizza was delicious in the restaurant but... was a tad salty reheated. The dining was comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The service was pretty fantastic and they hada nice little non alcoholic drink menu. Overall it was ok but could’ve been better. Food was ok, nothing special. Sauce for the pasta was over salted. Pizza had huge slices of prosciutto which made it difficult... to eat. Service was good. More than likely won't be back. Read more
My go-to restaurant in Mequon. Gets a little busy around 7 & their drinks are on the weaker side. Pays to be specific if you... want a cocktail otherwise they might butcher it. Food is fairly consistent and on their best days it's the best you'll get inMequon. Read more
My wife and I went to your restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The food and service was very good, but the drinks were... awful. The bartender does not know how to make a gimlet or a Sangria. However, when we went to pay with our gift card we weretold that the restaurant would not honor it. It was for the other location downtown. We did not know that there was anotherlocation and there was nothing noted on the gift card to indicate that it was for the other location. Very disappointing thatthey would not let us use this gift card. It was for the same restaurant Zarletti and that is what is indicated on the giftcard. Gift card buyer and receiver Beware!!! Read more
