Worst tacos in Merced. First time and not coming back, I just saw how the microwave everything. And they charge for onion limon... and sauce for your tacos that?s crazy and I also order the special of the day that was 2 tamales, beans and rice. Terrible food.There was just one person here. I wouldn?t recommend people to come here even a taco truck is better than this restaurant.Anyway if u want food from a fridge you can come here. I came here very hungry for the first time having a very positive outlook on the food but sadly I was VERY Disappointed. I... ordered enchiladas and a Torta I watched them microwave everything. I can only imagine how many times this meat was reheated.Once I tasted my food it was very flavorless and dry. Save ur money and buy Togo?s next door to it honestly would be muchbetter. Read more
The pictures here looked SO. GOOD! So i got the tacos, Asada and chicken. 3 tacos in, i went straight to the bathroom. I've... never had that happen to me with any Mexican food, and i've eaten in the streets of Mexico at the .25 & .50 tacos vendors.Something wasn't right with the taste of either of the meats, both tasted bland and really gamey or chewy. Called ahead and when I arrived 8 minutes later, both of my tacos were ready to go. I had one carne asada and one chicken... taco. The staff is always friendly and you can get the extra large Coke in a bottle here. Read more
I've have visited this place four times and each time I go the food seems to taste better. Their service is also top notch. Oct... 31, 2020 I ordered the carne asada nachos. The serving is great and the veggies are fresh. I also asked for avocado onmine. Let's get down to business. The review is in and the ratio of meat and beans to chips was spot on. I've been to otherplaces where I'm left with only chips and that's not cool. El Palmar will not disappoint and I highly recommend this place. Read more
I'm not from this area but I had to go south to pick up a truck recently, on our way back we stopped into this restaurant to... have a bite before our 2 1/2 hour drive home. Unfortunately it was a mistake to stop in here. I had the red tacos which theworker recommended and my dad had a wet burrito. The food was flavorless to say the least and the meat they use is super chewyand definitely not good quality. The taco was cold and the cheese was hard by the time I got it.
