My wife and I arrived around 6:30 PM - there was no wait to order our food. Both employees - the one that took our order and the... other that took care of our table - were friendly and respectful. Went in today for my daughters birthday, was charged and then seated fairly quick. The waitress gave us our plates for the salad... bar. And then disappeared.We waited 20 minutes for our complimentary toast to even be offered. when our food came out ourlobster looked like it had bn just tossed on the plate, and they forgot the side of mash I had ordered. So much time went bythat I just got it to go. Upon going to the salad bar I noticed the vegetables all disorganized there was onions in themushrooms a mess everywhere. Very sloppy. I opted for a soup when I went to serve myself one was completely empty the other hadno name so I was unsure what it was . I then went to the taco bar I decided to get some potato wedges they were all burnt . Notjust toasty but completely burnt. I paid a good amount for our meals I expected it to at least be decent. I used to be a hugefan of sizzler but my disappointment today has changed my mind. Read more
The burgers are a bit pricy but they taste pretty good. My favorite plate is the steak and lobster tail with a baked potato. The... salad bar has a good selection but I usually get the clam chowder or broccoli cheddar soup. They no longer have chicken on saladbar. I enjoy their soft served ice cream. Read more
Always great service and an amazing salad bar. The salad bar is HUGE! and it never ends, and it has a taco bar with chicken... wings and meatballs and chips and salsa and el pastor, and guacamole, then you get soft serve sundae for dessert, you can't beatit. And the soup! I probly forgot some things, but that ok, just go, you will be very satisfied. Read more
Great salad bar but DONT order anything else! While the steak was cooked perfectly it tasted like grill oil. They like to use... margarine on the bread and potatoes. The trio of shrimp was inedible. WAY too much breading, greasy, and cold. The strawberrylemonade was yummy. If you want a salad bar with cold crisp lettuce and lots of topping, they do that well. Other than that,food was strictly mediocre. The salad bar is $17 alone and $7.99 with an entree. That?s why we decided to try the entree butthey were not edible!! The counter girl was very friendly and helpful. Our server was very friendly also. And quick too. Everything was delicious. The... steak was perfectly medium rare, the ribs were so tender they practically melted. They bbq wings were cooked just right. And thelobster was fantastic (according to my boyfriend) The best meal I've had in a long time. It was our first real meal out sinceApril of 2020. We made a terrific choice. Merced Sizzler is like coming home. Service excellent. Salad bar is good. My friend ordered off menu. She couldn't finish the... sirloin tips...toooooo salty and rice mushy. I had salad bar and it was fresh. We decided to share about the sodium content. Nothealthy and so not a 4 or 5.
