The food was outstanding, a dinning experience with amazing ingredients.
The food here is consistently top notch. The chef actually forages locally for delicious edibles like wild mustard greens, green... briar tips and cherry blossoms, to name a few. The menu offerings are varied, unusual and wonderfully delicious. Another plus isthat it's BYO, so you can bring the wines you love without paying restaurant prices. This place deserves 20 stars! One of THE BEST places in the USA I have visited. The food is phenomenal: it?s creative,... delicious, made to the table, and the presentation is UNBELIEVABLE! Incredible atmosphere, fresh wild flowered on a table,old-school soft jazz music played on a turn table (!!), and a cozy warm feeling of a small European restaurant - we felt like ona vacation abroad and not in NJ. Our server Francesca was just outstanding - she described every meal with such a passion thatmy partner and I wanted to order everything on the menu. Francesca takes pride in the restaurant and really is an amazingperson. The other waiter, Jeff (sorry if we are wrong) was very friendly and accommodating. My partner and I could not stopsaying ?awe? with every new meal we ordered, and later we went to shake a hand to the chef, Philip Manganaro. It was a bigpleasure and a big honor to meet all the staff members since the restaurant is truly a gem. We are DEFINITELY coming back andbringing a little present for Philip with us. Read more

Let's start this off by saying the waitress has an amazing memory. Her description of the 3 fish specials and 2 meat specials... was phenomenal. That was only the beginning. Park Place is a small cozy restaurant with a very talented chef/owner in downtown Merchantville. The food and service is... impeccable. Everything is prepared with fresh ingredients. My friend had seared scallops with crispy pig face and spanishoctopus. I enjoyed the ribeye steak and potatoes. We enjoyed flourless chocolate cake and egg nog ice cream. Read more
