Just passed by Meredith on my tour of the lakes region, decided to stop at this store that was advertised on FaceBook. I was... visually accosted by who I could only assume was the manager. I called in an order for 2 Northender subs last Saturday. They told me 20 mins, we showed up 30 mins later and they hadn't even... started the subs. It's easier to tell you what the subs did have then not what they didn't... They had mayo, ham, Prosciuttoand lettuce... That's it. $28 for 2 subs which turned out to be such a disappointment. What a FABULOUS place to grab some grub.! They have anything from Subs, Pizzas, Burgers to Marinated Steaktips and Chicken.... Sides that are all preped and ready to go as well as desserts items. Personal favorite has to be their Monterey TurkeySandwich.! The staff is always so friendly and quick at getting the food ready. Madi over there ROCKS.!! She is such a delightto have there.! I can?t say enough good things about The Wine?ing Butcher! I?ve never had a bad experience here. They have been our go to for... our yearly traditional Christmas roast. Our entire family looks forward to that roast every year. There is a great selection ofmeats, prepared foods and many more items. I highly recommend. Read more
Monday, Memorial Day, they posted on the door 6 pm. The website said 4pm. We got here, and 3 other customers, at 3:57 pm and the... doors were locked. We sat in the parking lot to find another place to buy meat and during that time the employees were walkingout the door at 4:04 pm. I hope the owners are aware of this. Very poor customer service. Don?t post hours if you?re closingearly. Even if it is a few minutes. As customers, this is the worst service. The other 3 customers said the same thing. Verydisappointing. Beef tips are great. Pizzas are great. Pasta salad good, too. °°° Register/customer service issue. Wanted to buy some beef... bones in the case, knew right where it was. Went to the register by the door to check out. Saw a jar of Stubbs Barbeque saucesitting there, but no one was there. A man came over and told me I'd have to go to another register. I placed the bones down,and walked out of the store. My question: why should I be inconvenienced because the person before can't complete their orderbefore going to the register? And why couldn't the cashier either suspend the previous order, or re-ring it? Think about it: thewhole register is now on hold, and everyone who wants to check out must redirect because of one shopper? Three and a half stars.~ Next time stick up for all of your customers, not just that 'one special one.' Read more
The Wine?ing Butcher Shop is amazing. Their meats are of the highest quality and you definitely can taste the difference. I love... the steak tips and side dishes. Sometimes I freeze the side dishes to have on hand because they are that good. When I have aspecial occasion, I always shop here for my prime rib or filet mignon. The butcher has also vacuum packed my items when I neededto transport for vacation. Thank you for providing the community with a fantastic store. Read more
My family shops here for high quality marinated steak tips, turkey breasts, chicken. We also like tortellini salad, broccoli... salad, few other side dishes. Love the chocolate chip cookies!! Fancy desserts but overpriced as some can be purchased actossthe street at Hannaford for 1/3 less. They also have some fish, wine. So much to offer in a small store. Read more
