I live in wallingford 12 minuits away from the pizza shop. I ordered a pizza to be delivered and my order was taking forever so... when i called the guy on the phone was rude but i sort of brushed it off. My food got to my friends house so late i order at4:50 and got my food at 6:02. They took an hour and 12 minuits. The Total was way more then what the menu prices were. First off this place looks way bigger from the outside it makes you think you could sit inside an eat. Well nope you go in... there’s barely any room to move they keep ready made pizza behind a glass display no heat lamps or refrigeration it just sitsthere an who knows for how long. Second we got a large pizza half pepperoni which was not that bigger then a medium an it costis almost 22 dollars. I could of gotten 2 pizzas at dominos for cheaper. The taste is ok but not good tastes like nothing youhave to add a lot on top to make it taste good. An the cheese is so weird looks like cheese that they put on bagel bites. Iwould not recommend getting anything there an the worst part is they don’t offer refunds. I wasted my time an money even myhusband hated the pizza an he’s had worse. So word to the wise don’t go to Gino’s in Meriden save yourself the money an gosomewhere else. Read more
I ordered the Large white Hawaiian pizza tonight. Honestly it had absolutely NO FLAVOR . It tasted like the cardboard box it... came in. The mozzarella sticks well they are mozzarella sticks. Could of bought a box of mozzarella sticks at Walmart would ofbeen cheaper. The only thing that saved tonight was the wings , they were the only thing that had any flavor. Then on top of it, I was charged a CC fee and a $5 delivery fee. I live about a mile from the place. If I knew that, I would of picked up myorder. And of course when I placed my order, they didn't mention those two additional fees. I paid over $50 for tonights dinner.Never ordering there again. Goodbye Gino ???? Read more
My last experience with Ginos left me disappointed .I was more than unhappy and dissatisfied with the food I received,I was... totally disgusted with the service given by Leo" over the phone for a total of 4x.I ordered a Margarita Pizza it came withcurdled cheese across my pie.It looked unappetizing,and tasted the same.My other was sm.ck alfredo pizza though it wasextremely dry and hard as a rock,very little ricotta,no alfredo,No oil,lots of spinache(we threw it out)It wasnt the one Icomplained about.I called immediately and spoke to this employee who apoeared to be ...I had to continuously repeat myself as hein a dead monotone voice apologized while insisting that that is how mozzarella is supposed to be.I told him I didnt want it andwas more than willing to bring it back,I was not paying for this.He told meWait not necessary 3x he would explain to the ownerand have him call me.Each time I called back I conveniently missed,"Gino"Right up until closing.It is the last time I orderthere and that goes for the five regular customers who were now going without dinner.Shame on the your staff,maybe Gino needs tokeep a better eye out on his business. Can not complain the best place to get pizza. I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Gino Himself what a pleasure. I am so happy to have... the opportunity to have a photo with him.
