It has been several years since we have been to Corona Village. The service was so bad then we were not going back. We changed... our minds and went back yesterday. We are glad we did. Service was good. Food, not so much. I'm not an expert but I've dabbled in an unhealthy amount of Mexican food to feel confident... about what im saying. The salsa had a burnt tomato paste taste. The picadillo had a strong spaghetti-o taste (confirmed by mywife). Not a lot of flavor in the food. I ordered a side taco and when I went to pick it up, the grease had turned the bottom tomush, causing everything to fall out. All 5 dishes ordered were either bland or had that weird tomato paste. The plates wereextremely hot from being microwaved. It's not a one rating because the service was good, and he was quick bringing everythingout. I usually love eating at this restaurant with good food and nice service. But I ate with a friend of mine tonight and the food... tasted good. Unfortunately our waiter was very rude to us and not friendly. I've never had that issue before. But not longafter dinner my stomach has been upset and so had his. I've eaten here at least a dozen times and always been happy with thefood and service without any problems. I want to return but not if I have more problems. Read more

The chips and salsa, food and deep fried ice cream is AMAZING! The customer service at the Meridian location was EXCEPTIONAL!!... The owner Speedy is so amazing! He was so friendly to my two year old son and made sure we had everything we needed. Our waiterAndres was so wonderful as well and was so attentive. I’m pregnant and was craving their salsa and he made sure my salsa cupwas always full and that we were happy. The prices are so reasonable there; it’s definitely one of my favorite places to eatand I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this place! Read more

This is my 2nd time here. I’m in town for work and if you want good, authentic, Mexican food… this is the place to go!... First, get their queso dip appetizer, it’s phenomenal!! Second, get yourself a margarita, it’s just right to get you warmand happy. The beans and salsa are delicious, the food is delicious… you literally can’t go wrong.
