We ordered the Fiesta platter and a plate of 3 enchiladas using doordash. We are very disappointed with the quality of the food.... It was very bland with little to no flavor and we were also missing a couple items in the platter. It was thrown together withno care and the serving sizes were ridiculous. We paid $60 for what your seeing in the pictures. It was so bad, we tasted it andthrew it away. Doordash won't give a refund, waste of money and time. Read more
Since moving to the Treasure Valley, I have been on the hunt for a decent bowl of menudo. Well, if decent is what you're looking... for then this place will shatter all expectations. Their menudo is top tier fantastic. With that being said, my preference iswith hominy. If I have your attention still, then let's keep going. The depth of flavors from this soup tell me this was noquick throw together recipe. My biggest concern always is if the tripe is cleaned and prepped and the flavor answered thatquestion. It was done right for sure. It came with all the necessary additions like white onion, cilantro, lime, dried oreganoand dried chili pepper. If you're into menudo like I am, then don't miss out on this. Besides the food, the service is great.Eddy is very attentive and you want for nothing. The Modelo I ordered was served in a giant frosty mug and was ice cold. Thechips and salsa are good and the refried bean dip was perfect for layering on to my corn tortillas. Roll them up and dip it intothe menudo. Just a suggestion if you want to give it a try. My son had a combo steak and shrimp fajitas which he said heenjoyed. You can't get any further info out of him about his food. He asked to take the rest home in a box which indicates itwas better than most. My significant other noticed something on the menu that he thought I would like. We ordered food, and when it was brought out,... ordered dessert. He got his flan, and I got chimi cheesecake. It sounded good, and it was very pretty. I was so excited to tryit, but oh NO!! I took a bite and the cheesecake was SOUR!. It was frozen, so I'm not sure if they hadn't served any in a while,but it upset my stomach all night. I didn't even finish the bite, i spit it out and notified them immediately. They took it offour bill, but it literally left a bad taste in my mouth. We normally don't have an issue here, but knowing him, we won't beback. =/ Read more
I enjoyed my dine in at El Tenampa. I had the shrimp with sauce, beans, rice, and flour tortillas. The shrimp with sauce was... actually really good. Also, I purchased a lb. of shrimp to add to my shrimp with sauce which made my meal perfect. Read more
