Tried Happy Teriyaki last night for the first time. This was the most underwhelming meal I have had in a while. The beef was... nothing but gristle although the chicken was not bad. The rice was good. For $15.85 a plate, I expected more. More flavor, morefood, something to make it worth that. I wouldn't pay half that price for the amount and lack of quality food we received. Hadn't been in a few months so went last night and grabbed it to go (the chicken fried rice). Usually two orders was more than... enough for 4 of us, portions are half, yes HALF of what they used to be and two was not enough for all 4. Very disappointedthat you have played the shrinkflation game instead of raising your price since we had to go add some egg rolls from somewhereelse to have a meal. This might be my first one star rating ever. I entered this establishment at 7:50pm after a long 3 hr. drive. I used the... restroom, answered a quick call, and at 7:59pm the employee at the counter said, ?I?m sorry but we are closed. We already turnedoff the grill.? I?m sorry but at 99% of teriyaki places, an order of katsu is around the same size as normal teriyaki. I ordered the katsu bowl... and I literally had like 6 pieces of chicken. That?s insane. Going elsewhere next time I want teriyaki. Read more
