I just went to this Taco Time again and I needed to change my review from 4 stars down to 2 stars. Once again, large order... during busy time. This time they had plenty of people working. They were fast but not even a little friendly. I get it, theywere busy. The real issue was the food. The tortillas on the crisp burritos were either freezer burned or stale, possibly both.I don't know if they freeze them or not. They weren't crispy, they were like eating Styrofoam. Just terrible. I couldn't eatmine. We ordered 5 and they are 4$ now so we got 20$ worth of trash. Also...the meat was different from every other Taco Time inthe area. I don't know how, i assume they all get the same stuff and use the same mixes. This meat tastes off and the texture isVERY different. I honestly don't understand it. Anyway...from now on I will drive the extra 15 minutes to go to a REAL TacoTime. I can no longer recommend this Taco Time. However, I'm leaving my previous review in hopes that someone in charge readsthis and understands that they not only CAN do better, but HAVE done better! Here it is - I just went to Taco Time for thefirst time in a couple years (mostly due to covid). I went through the drive through and, in spite of being seemingly short onstaff (only 2 people working), the food was still hot and delicious after a 10 min drive home. Ive been going to this taco time location for about 10 years and it was better than any taco fast food place I had ever tried... until about 3 years ago. The owner must have changed because the staff became real grumpy you could tell they didnt want to betheir and they started to become very rude. They stopped offering weekly specials and also they used to offer free cinnamoncrustos with a purchase over 20 dollars. Well this all stopped. They started limiting sauces like ranch, first to 2 sauces perperson then to 1 and now you can only get ranch if you order a taco salad. Not to mention that the prices started to skyrocket. now you cant even get a cup of water with out having to pay 11 cents. I would never reccomend going to this location norwill i ever go there again, if i could leave a 0 star review i would. Read more
Angst teen drama is the theme here. All young workers around 15 except for the supervisor who is 17. The place is basically... clean but had plenty of clutter from customer usage, straw wrappers, cup lids and over flowed ketchup/hot sauce. However, thefood is fresh, hot and they really fill the burritos. The soda is cold and has that extra syrup that makes it good. The cashierwas in her second day and was a bit slow as a few customers grumbled. But she was friendly, accurate and knew how to run theregister. She is a rock star and had a smile while the remaining staff looked like their bf was caught at the food court with acheerleader. You were awesome second day girl! This place charges for ranch after we spent 35 dollars on our food which include crisp meats burrito and when we bought... additional ranches it was serviced with attitude from what it sounded like from the daughter of the owner. We will not be goingback to this place after the service received. I could care less about the charge for additional ranch since I know everythingcost more but it honestly about how it was handled and the customer service. Read more
