The workers always look sad that they are their and sometimes complain but that is a problem at the corporate level. Food is... good, its open 24/7 unlike most everywhere anymore because when covid hit places got lazy.. old fashioned diner stylerestaurants have a cool retro factor that I am glad that they stuck with. The corporation as a whole needs to figure out a wayto instill pride and happiness in their workers. And up their wages! Read more
Store is always nasty. Only has 2-3 tables open for whatever reason. Never polite,never good service It's like no one there... wants to be at work ever. Tonight there was a sign on the door that said "dine in only" But the option to dine in is impossible,Because two of the three tables that they had open were dirty and no one wiped them off or even offered to.... Has anyone else been served with garnishment papers? They are saying I owe them over 3,000 dollars. For not turning in tips. So... they are going to garnish my check where I work now.. when I got hired and many times throughout my employment there, the unitmanager told us, click 0 at the end of the night. They automatically take it out of your check . So that's what we did, all ofus as far as I know. But now I get papers ,I haven't worked there since may, for 1, also, the paperwork has a march 2022 date onit. Where has it been all this time? That was 6 months ago. We were suppose to make the same as MW 7.50 according to ourleader. This includes waitresses $2.50 hr plus our tips. Between both, it's suppose to average minimum wage. If it doesn't, wewould have to fill out a form every night for a week to get our pay for the day we didn't make mw and that's only if it wasbelow average that week. Also, there were times my check wasn't right, missing a days pay. Instead of writing me a check rightthen I would have to wait until my next check before I saw that money. Complete chaos and nonsense. And I don't see how I oweover 3,000 when I did everything I was suppose to do. Where's my money for pretty much the whole winter I didn't average 7.50 hra night? Sorriest waffle house ive ever been to. Never can get waited on. Wait on people that came in after us. They only had three... tables open. Waited 25 minutes and finally left. Its like that everytime we go in there. This place needs some management. I'llnever be back to this one and I'll make sure to tell everyone I can not to go there Read more
Husband and I came for an early morning breakfast and I give 5 ?'s 100%!! The food was amazing and spot on. We got hashbrowns,... over easy eggs and a hashbrowns bowl steak. We tipped the waitress and cook. The restaurant bathrooms were clean and was VERYwell prepared for a rush of customers. Our drinks stayed full and was truly satisfied. Late night shift on 12/2 @1020pm Customer service (0/5 stars) - I came in and waited by the register to be served but no one... came. However, one guy standing there checking text messages and on IG. Special shoutout to the lady who finally took my orderafter 10 minutes of being invisible. Food (4/5) - order a Texas patty melt ..cooked well done and hash brown cooked well. Iprobably wouldn?t recommend the night crew but stick to the morning crew. For me I won?t entertain WH for awhile. Note: if youdon?t want to work and provide good customer service then that might be an indication to find another line of work or getadditional training. Read more
