No indoor dining. You drive on 1side of the building to order, drive around to the other side to pay and receive your food. They... have a few picnic tables to sit at. Flies are a problem but the food was good. They had chili but it wasn't on the order side sowhen I saw the homemade sign on the pay side I asked for it and they just added it to my my bill. Onion rings were just rightand the chili was good. I'd eat there again. Read more
It was just truly terrible I didn't know you could mess up a hot ham and cheese apparently you can. I'm pretty sure it's Spam... that's what it tasted like. I was warned not to eat the burgers So I opted for the ham and cheese what a mistake. I don'trecommend it it's greasy and bad. Just don't waste your money and do it to yourself it's just not worth it. I truly am not surehow this place stays in business. Read more
Used to love love love going inside to order the burgers and watching the flames hit the ceiling while cooking the burgers,... that's what made the entire experience. The burgers also didn't taste as good as I remember. ???? Used to stop in weekly beforecovid messed the world up. Open, the doors back up please! Yay! There's still a Chip's around! My family and I visited Merrill over the weekend and what a delightful surprise! We had... one in our hometown back in the day and it brings back many wonderful memories. Especially of the "family packs" my parentswould bring home, which at the time consists of 10 delicious hamburgers and a bunch of fries. It's just as good as I rememberit being. This place has been around forever, I didn't even live in Merrill and I still knew their reputation for excellent burgers! The... burgers are wonderfully flame broiled, the french fries of course are legendary, and it's always staffed with happy people whoare so willing to help. You can't go wrong with Chip's Read more
Chip's is one of those restaurants that has an unassuming look to it. That is to say that it doesn't look like much or seem... fancy. However, the food and service is absolutely top notch! We went through the drive thru. Quick order and everything wasready shortly after we paid for it. All of the items we ordered were freshly made and piping hot! It's a burger joint. Food was fresh. Staff was friendly. Prices are so-so, but what isn't nowadays. 11/06/22 update - Was... disappointed with the bacon double cheeseburger. After I got home and opened it, there were 2 tiny pieces of bacon in it. Eachtiny piece was about 2"x1/2" Not worth the money paid for it! Read more
