This place was the most authentic restaurant I?ve ever been to. The food was PHENOMENAL. The lentil soup ???? I couldn?t believe... the amount of flavor that was in it. The hummus was THE BEST hummus I have ever had in my life. Everything is made from scratch.I had the combo platter (not pictured here). The falafel is so crispy on the outside, but soft and moist on the inside. The meatis the same way (chicken & kafta), just completely tender, but you can tell on the outside it?s been on the grill due to thechar flavor. Their mint tea is amazing. I honestly can?t say nothing but good things about this place. The service was A1. Ibelieve for two of us the bill was right at $30 and we ended up tipping like $20 because it was that great. Finally this Chicago gal found a Middle Eastern food mart and restaurant nearby. If you come on Sunday they have a buffet. I... dare you not to leave without ordering takeout or staying to dine the restaurant. Great variety of baklava, beans, seeds,seasonings and teas. Oh yeah, this place is connected with Grubhub and DoorDash so you can order from home and enjoy! Read more
It's been over a year since I last ate here and the food was just as delicious as it was before! I had the Chicken Kabob with... yellow rice and lentil soup. It was a perfect dinner to cap off a very busy travel week! The service was excellent and Istopped at the attached store for some olives to take back home. Thank you again!!
