My 6 yo has been begging me to go here for awhile now and we finally went and the Merrillville location was great! I heard they... remodeled it and you can tell. There's no more stage but a huge tv screen that plays Chuck E's videos and this really cool dancefloor that lights up and shows different images (a shark and fish for their summer bash). We came at 1:00 on a Tuesday so itwasn't crowded and only 2-3 staff people who were ALL great and very attentive!! We hadn't been in a few years and I had no ideaabout the e-tickets but the lady manager helped me get the $17.99 promo to play unlimited games for an hour (make sure udownload their app for rewards and freebies), the blonde lady gave my baby some extra candy at the ticket counter and the guyworking behind the scenes (who I think came out later in Chuck E's costume lol), remade my fries when they came out burnt. I wasshocked by the food prices though. 9 piece boneless wings were $15.99, basket of fries were $3.50 (BUT they were fresh cut) anda medium pizza was $15 but I looooove their pizza so it was totally worth it! I used a $50 gift card that I purchased for $37.50at Sam's Club right next door, which was a good deal. The games were plentiful. Our favorite was Jurassic Park! The game jerksthe seat around as you kill the prehistoric creatures and it was really fun I must say! Had a few dollars left on the gift cardand got the shark cupcake and it was $5 but it was huge and oh so good! We didn't use the bathroom but the play area and diningroom was very clean. This location in particular is awesome and the staff is consistent with the excellent customer service within the last two years... of me coming here. I can't express enough the gratitude I have for the staff as they deliver the best customer service in thearea! They were great both times I had parties here with my intellectually disabled sister. Also they really do make the effortto make sure the kids are having fun and the whole entire party have a Wonderful experience. Thanks yall! Read more
Great experience today! This was my grandbaby's first time experiencing chuck e. cheese and wow did she ever get the red carpet... treatment. The place was super clean. Sanitizing stations located throughout. The food was great! The employees were friendlyand accommodating. The owner is top notch!!! By far the best experience I've ever had at a chuck e cheese! I honestly hadn't been here in YEARS but we decided to do a small party for my 5yr olds bday. We purchased a party package which... was a decent price for everything they offered, bit be aware that it adds up QUICK. Regardless, worth it. All our kids had funand some of them were teens. The pizza was better then before with a flavorful crust n not cardboard like I remember lol. Thecake was cute n yummy. They didn't have the one we picked but it was ok because they had a few choices. Our attendant was verynice, prompt, and helpful. Place was clean with many sanitation stations. They allowed her to go in the ticket blaster w hersister which is a huge plus. My only peeve is when they were singing the bday party song for OUR daughter, the table next to uswas ruining it by yelling THEIR KIDS name ???? Like, come on, be adults. Always an awesome time for my Littles! It was my youngest 1st time and he jumped right in. I wiped down games before play but... the best part is early mornings no one is there and toddlers won't get trampled and pushed around. There are always about 3other families there. Read more
