Good selection great value for the money tasty food. Our server could have been a little more attentive to us only complaint.
El salto is our go to local spot! We've spent our highest highs and lowest lows here, when you just need some great food, good... margaritas, and some friendly faces it's always an easy choice. Dine in or carry out- always consistently delicious. Reuben isphenomenal- even if we aren't seated in his section he swings by to say hi, and he is so sweet to our son; he is just a topnotch kinda guy and El Salto wouldn't be what it is without him! Nice people and service really fast. Lots of TVs for watching sports. Food, unfortunately, was very poor. Pre-cooked, bland,... and probably from frozen ingredients. Tortillas were crunchy from having been heated for too long. Bad grocery store chips,salsa too sweet. Read more
El Salto Merrillville, so good, your good come to the table pretty quick too! I got the Carnitas dinner, I didn't take a picture... of the beans and rice, my favorite part of this restaurant is they have Horchata! So many Mexican restaurants don't, the foodand the staff are great! Read more
I should have never asked for a shot of patron in there lol. I got a little to lit this day but I had a great time.
Went in for half price margaritas. Ended up with a $60 bill. We ordered meat dip, highly recommend despite the odd name.... Guacamole, burrito cheesecake. That cheesecake is amazing! After 1 watermelon margarita I forgot to take photos. Lol Read more
Pretty nice place for mexican food, not fully authentic but pretty darn close! Staff is very friendly and service is really... good. The food is very tasty and served in a timely fashion. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a goodtime with good food while drinking some flavored margaritas(or beer, if you?re like me) The menu is fairly priced. Read more
