Had an amazing experience here! Was in the area for work. A coworker and I got out of our work event late and were looking for a... spot to eat. We took to google to find not much left open, leading us to what turned out to be a gem with incredible customerservice. We arrived just over an hour before closing and where we come from, restaurant staff isn’t always too hospitable tothe people who roll in towards the end of the night. That is not what we experienced here. We walked in the door to anabsolutely gorgeous dining area classically lit and full of gorgeous flowers and a nice bar. We were immediately greeted by aman who seemed to be the owner. He was incredibly pleasant as we asked him if outdoor dining was open- he replied that it wasfor us, and immediately sat us outside on a gorgeous patio that included a fire place and live, gorgeous plants everywhere. DidI mention we had the patio all to ourselves? We were promptly greeted by a beautiful waitress who was perfectly timed in hercheck ins to the table, was very knowledgeable about the menu, and had a couple of good laughs with us. We were presented with adelicious sweet pepper and oil dish with their fresh baked, traditional Italian dipping bread. I ordered a special of thelobster ravioli. The ravioli was fantastic and the quantity of lobster was good- quality even better. My coworker got a steakwhich came out perfectly cooked and had a ‘perfectly simple’ seasoning that made your mouth water but did not diminish thesteaks flavor. Not bad, not great. Steak cook was dead on, peppers were good. The demi glace on the filet was gross, not a fan. Crab cake was... weird and the quality of said crab was sus. Read more
Gino’s rarely disappoints. With limited options for steaks in northwest Indiana, Gino’s is definitely our go to. Their... chicken Alfredo is outstanding, I’ve had the filet numerous times, but one of my favorites is their tilapia. Their peppersthat they greet you with to go with the bread basket are outstanding. Their crab cake appetizer is another stand out. If theyhave the mushroom soup on special, definitely get it! I’ve never had an issue with service here. 5/5 recommend! Read more
The service could've been better had they had enough staff to wait a party of 20 people. Most of us didn't get the side dishes... to our meals. When I received mine, it came in a dirty dish. My bill was $236. For that amount I prefer a home cooked meal of mychoice! Read more
This is a great family restaurant, we celebrated my moms birthday we had a party of 10 and the customer service was excellent!... Considering we had such a large party we were happy. My lobster was a little over cooked so that’s why I didn’t give 5stars.They also give large portions so u will have leftovers. Read more
On my birthday night I made a mistake of driving 63 miles to this restaurant! I ordered a medium well steak and I received a... well done steak! My server then got the manger ( a older man) he walked over to the table and told me that all steaks werecooked on a “timer” and he was very unsympathetic! He told me that it would be pink once I got to the bone and it would beokay and walked away. Never have I ever experience that’s type of behavior from a manager!! Meanwhile, my server was overlyapologetic and got my cake to take home since it was a my birthday! Which I appreciate. Me and my husband spent 163 dollars!!! Iexpected the manager to at least have the cook recook the steaks!! Or offer a discount! The bread the brought out was cold andstale as ever !!! The drinks were horrible !!! We were seated right away very friendly staff. We started off with bread and their famous Peppers (YUMMY) a bowl of Chicken... Lemon Rice soup (lemon rice soup was ok). and a bowl of Lobster Bisque . My husband ordered the special Shrimp and ChickenPrimavera. I ordered the King Crab Legs One thing I learned is when I see market price on the menu is to ask what that isbefore I order.
