Half of me is filled with pure happiness stemming from the discovery of this restaurant...the other half is filled with total... disappointment in realizing we've been missing out on this fantastic food for so long! We ordered carry out thisevening...various kabob combinations (beef tenderloin, lemon chicken, and adobo chicken). Every bite was full of deliciouslyfresh and very satisfying flavors. Great experience, a diamond in the rough! Great hospitality and great food! The green tea w/ cardamom had the perfect balance... of taste and strength. The lentil soup was a bonus! Coming from NYC I have a high standard and man did this hit the spot! Theambiance was also quite calm, maybe a bit a soft Mediterranean music playing in the background would help (wouldn't hurt toexplore?) Highly recommended! Read more
We went there, during the week, for breakfast. Everything was fresh, she even made fresh coffee...it was so delicious! We tried... the Cook's (the aunt of the owner) homemade green and red hot sauce.....oh my gosh!!!!! It was so yummy!!!!! We we're the onlycustomers so we had the opportunity to chat with the cook, very friendly lady. I can't wait to go back sometime to try theirkabas.... especially with the sauce!!!!! Read more
Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! My palate simply danced with the New flavors I've never experienced. Saved me on plane ticket,... hotel, and never stepping foot out of the country. Best Mediterranean food around. Loved the Afghan Custard dessert as well. Read more
