Love this place. It's our new favorite go-to since we've been in town. They've got pool, darts, and TVs for the games. Food's... good. Bartenders are nice as pie. We've had Sandy, Tiffany, Tammy, and a couple of others I don't remember their names, but allhave been friendly, helpful, and just great. Plus, it's probably the last bar in America that allows smoking indoors, which issuper convenient and makes me feel like an adult, and a cigarette machine. It's quite a blast from the past. I love this place. It's laid back, the food is good, the customers are all chill and the bartender was fantastic! I travel... across the country throughout the year and try to hit local places. This one is a keeper. Read more

Server was great. Long dark hair, she was busy but came around n d when she could. The guy that told our group to leave because... another group was waiting sucks. We were there earlier keeping to ourselves and not getting rowdy. Do reservations for a limitedtime if you expect groups to leave at a certain time. The staff is great. Skillet breakfast has been much better. Either less quality, or less concern. Great Blood Mary. Only go... by there during the day. Don't like bringing the girl there at. Bad looks and aggressive attitudes. Read more

I would call this a dive bar but it was the highlight to my stay in Merrillville. The drinks were a fair price the atmosphere... was cool and it had smoking allowed in the bar so that brought me back to how bars used to be and it was just a cool experience. The waitress had to ID us all and we?re in our late 30?s so that was kinda weird but she got nicer as the night went on. Thefood was another high point for me. I don?t remember what the burger was called but they had a 1 lb burger option that wouldhave been the biggest burger I can remember ever seeing offered at a bar but?.. they also offered it as a double! I finishedthe 1 lb burger but my friend couldn?t finish the 2lb one. I would go here again next time I?m in town. Read more

A nice set up with a decent size dining area and also four pool tables (two in back part) to unwind. A good mix of locals with... the occasional out of towner. Not a drinker but the appetizer that I ordered seemed pretty reasonably priced. Read more

Not that it's a bad thing, but this is your basic bar. Good bar food. Drinks are cold and reasonably priced. Bartender was... friendly and attentive. I will definately be going back to have a few drinks n try some more food. Read more
