My niece and I were in the area on Sunday morning 6/26/22, our goal was to have a Chicago style deep dish pizza before a 6-7... hour drive home. She had never experienced a a traditional Chicago deep dish pizza. We stopped at Beggars Pizza on MerrionettePark as I have ate at this location a few times when in the area and have never had a bad experience. Well unfortunately thathas changed. We stopped in just a couple minutes after the place opened, we were the only guests in the restaurant. We orderedour pizza, we were informed that it would take about 45 minutes to bake, this was ok. We waited, about 45 minutes later ourserver came up to the table and expressed her apologies as she forgot to place our order. She offered us pre-made slices. Thisis unacceptable. We were the only customer in the place, she had one job to do. Needless to say, we left and went to Barraco'sand had fabulous service and a delicious pizza. Due to this incident I was over an hour behind schedule to getting on the roadhome. I will never go back to Beggars. Read more

if you order from this location for delivery thinking your pizza will be fresh and hot think again, it actually comes from blue... islands location. We live a mile from it and my dad ordered pizza from here thinking nothing of it and we got a completely coldpizza that was also undercooked. I usually go pick it up but he ordered delivery not thinking about it and it was a waste ofmoney. Read more

I ordered a grilled chicken salad & it was missing the eggs & the cucumbers. It only had grilled chicken, olives, &... lettuce.Yuck! No bread, that usually comes with the salad, was provided either. I asked for 3 dressings twice & only received2. I was so disgusted that I took the salad back & asked for a refund instead of having them remake the salad. The manager hadnothing but excuses. There was no offer for rewards nor a credit for my inconvenience for having to leave my house & come backup there. I have been a loyal customer for this location (Merrionette Park) for 10 years. This is the 2nd time this hashappened! Not again! Do better, Beggars! Read more

Beggars is one of my favorite pizza spots in Chicago, the Are awesome at deep dish but there thin crust is good too. Dont forgot... the hot wings for the appetizer. Megan was our server super courteous and friendly. Read more
